about me
Spent most of my life as a Dominatrix, am now retired, but write & do artwork which underpins my writing. My writing is about prostution & the ethics around it. I am an advocate for the de-crim of sexwork internationally.
I care abour people, how they feel & how they see themselves. In doing so it made me realise that sometimes the way we see others affect them greatly....it is this aspect of ourselves, our judgements & our inner fears that can help or destroy others that feel vulnerable. Have not we all felt vulnerable at some time in our lives, what would we have wanted for ourselves during these times of crisis....understanding & love? These are things we must remember when we are grateful for what we have, least we pass each other on the way down. Sexworkers are one of the most misunderstood & sometimes despised of cultures within our societies, yet we forget they have their own stories....their own experiences that we think do not apply to others who are not within that profession. Step back & consider that there may be a wealth of love, inspiration & understanding that we lose by not acknowledging their worth....nor the fact that we might indeed become better people for what many sexworkers have within their hearts, given the chance, given the opportunity. Have also been a drug/alcohol counsellor setting up a agency for street people in Plymoth, UK. My lifes work & dream, is to hopefully see & be a part of reclaiming the honour back into the profession of prostitution. Would love to see the seeds set before this life is over. Also in my early days used to run a badger field study centre on Dartmoor, Devon, UK. It was this work, seeing badgers in captivity that helped me recognise a corrulation to people in poverty & the conditions that they are forced to live in, which got me on the road to becoming a counsellor & future work around issues of marginalised people. I am a great believer that people are linked & know it when they are. I love life & all it has to offer. I feel all experiences are valid, even those percieved as bad, are just the way we see them. Most `bad` experiences are the ones we can learn the most from. Love to see things from ALL aspects & not the usual ones, there are many mountain-tops! I am an intelligent person who loves to challenge ordinary ways of seeing things. Have experienced both life & death. I hate judgemental people, who have never experienced what they judge. Love the concept of Sacred Whoredom & prostitution being re-newed as another honourable profession. Can talk on most subjects hopefully, when I cannot I listen! Oh, I nearly forgot, I am a Taurean with Scorpio rising, so that puts me square in the right role in life.

My journey through life has been, as with others, sometimes funny, others sad...frequently traumatic but also inspiring & exciting. Tinge this with thousands of experiences & my memories & my learnings are bursting with love, understanding & rarely disappointments! What a journey, what adventures, even my darkest hours are my most enlightening..they show the stars for their brightness & energy in their best dresses.

Gosh..where do I start! ..but I think the worse is my skin...wrinkles & dryness. I won`t though resort to surgery or any cosmetic works. Though I do ask myself at times is that because you can`t afford it, rather than standing up for my natural ag...

Re: Lilith, Mother of Witches

I really liked these posts about Lilith & cheix, I kind of agree with where your coming from, but feel that patriarchy as we see it now, is an evolvement from `maybe` a time Woman gave up her powers rather than have it taken away from Her..its an ...

what do you look for?
(in * sex talk *)
I was wondering how many of you who meet either many sexual partners or swing in anyway, look for something specific in your sexual encounters? ie: dom/sub..or any fetish?
If so did you evolve to this understanding of yourselves/experience, or do... read more discussion post on Sun, October 25, 2009 - 3:30 PM

Human rights, is a subject that passes the lips of most people I have known in certain circumstances.

`It is MY human right`/`it is `OUR` human right..etc, etc! When at times like this I write down my true thoughts, it usually brings a reception of disgust or dismay. I am never quite sure why that is save to say, in my view it can only be a sense of denial, either self or projected. Human rights organisations have even wanted to represent me. Seeing me & my life of something that was ... read more
Wow, at last I am back..been away for 10 months or so now...the months just rolled by with house renovations..major ones..& then to cap it off when I was ready to go on-line, I got technical problems that left me raging at times. Even to get help by phone I was redirected to India..it seems that they do most of their service stuff over in that far away land. Anyway after much fuss I finally got through to someone who coul;d get out of the usual service talk rut & got fixed..also got 6 months...

We live our lives according to a `Family Romance` (Freud), an incestuous constellation of sensual personae that we carry from childhood to the grave & that determines who we love or hate. The search for freedom through sex is doomed to failure. In sex compulsion & necessity rule. Orgasm is a domination, a surrender, or a braking through. Nature is no respecter of human identity. That is why so many men turn away or flee after sex. Sex cannot be understood because nat... read more

In social terms they absorb all the excess semen created by mankind; being both the depiction of various feminine archetypes & the `cleaners` of unwanted seeds. They are not bound by the sexual fears & conventions of civilisation & are there for the `birth` of sexual fantasy, as well as receptacles & disposers of millions of life forms that mankind does not need. They deal in both-life & death on a daily basis; not ... read more
On a hot and sticky evening the summer of 1976, I was meeting up with my prostitute colleagues in our usual spot on the corner of Union Street. We always conferred about clients and related any trouble we had, especially since the Yorkshire Ripper was on the loose.
