We never could have known that cold February day when we went to doggie jail what a unique dog we'd get. he was about the color,size and shape of a basketball. It was 2/3 fur one third dog. Tomorrow is the start of my long awaited trip to see my Mom. She's still hanging in there. It's a bitter sweet thing for me -- and for her I would imagine. It's the last time the family will gather until our matriarch has left on the last greatest adventure. The family's women will gather. The family's men may join us -- or not. Even if you've never contacted your representatives before do yourself and the entire country a favor and do so now. It's crucial that we tell our representatives that we don't want the creditcard and other financial abuses to continue. Keeping silent will assure that the unfair practices will not only continue but increase.
