The wall was Lover's Leap near South Lake Tahoe. Fer any climbers out there, it was Soda Bottle route (5.7), at least until we accidently veering off onto a 5.8/5.9 route half way up. Scariest, most intense thing I've ever done. I'm not sure which I'll remember more: dealing with panic-shakes while clinging to a flat face way over my skill level 200 feet in the air, or the scream I let out when I made it to the top, alive, without a s... read more

I actually donated money to the Obama campaign this year. Not much, but I've never before done that. The simple explanation regarding all the money issues that politicians have, and the resulting bribes/kickbacks/lobbyists/campaign reform/buying access/old school politics/etc that we all hate revolve around the need/ability to spend millions of dollars on last-minute negative advertising on small town l... read more
