VOTE!!!

   Mon, November 3, 2008 - 9:00 AM
If you haven't taken advantage of early voting opportunities, MAKE SURE to vote tomorrow. No excuses, or no whining later. I'd much prefer all of you vote for Obama, as I've had enough Republican trickle-down economics and warmongering and lies for a lifetime. It's time for the pendulum to swing the other way for a while, or we'll be living in a country with the economic structure and social freedoms of a third-world country. If you thought Obama's lead was solid, check out the new CNN map for a heart-stopping image ( www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/map/polling/ ). Leads in Virginia and Florida have narrowed considerably. If you haven't campaigned yet, today would be the day to do it. VOTE!!! And nag your friends and family to do the same!

I've been enjoying tracking by this graph:
www.pollster.com/polls/us/...ge-mvo.php

Which consolidates many polls, as well as presenting all the various bits of data (every data point is a poll -- hover over it to see that poll's results).

It was interesting hearing people talk of McCain's surge, without bothering to mention the even-steeper curve on the D side of the graphs.

I like to fantasize that these are all the undecided people thinking "Whoa -- do i want more of what we've been experiencing the past decade, or do i want to ostensibly support the winer?"

(because everyone likes to be on the winning side, and a person who is undecided will usually go for the popular candidate to feel good about themselves).

I look forward hopefully to a rout.

I am a tad disappointed Broccoliman/Christ aren't getting significant votes.
