Recently, Ali and I were talking about the people he wanted to be around. He said that he wanted to be surrounded by people that were conscious of the effects their actions had on other people. I think this describes Ali perfectly.
Ali is one of those people that seem to have an old soul that is at peace with the world around him. Perhaps he has already worked through in a past life the hang-ups that the rest of still possess.

I'm secretly very jealous of him because he's such a good DJ and I kinda suck. But he's been nice enough to grace me with his presence, give me a tip or two and say i'm a hot redheaded DJ! Plus he photographs porn (another reason to be secretly jealous)-this kid's cool!

Ali is a true gem of a soul and I consider myself very very lucky to know him. I count on this bond I enjoy with this freak to continue far into the freaky future. So hey Ali, let it be officially known now that I'm counting on you, heh heh heh : ). And his witty sublime creative mind and top notch dj skills and irresistable charm and eh... are also far from unimportant to mention. Oh, and he's old skool and nu skool. Here's to you Ali, ROCK ON!

(Actually, he's really good at both these things, plus more besides. For instance, he's also a good artist, and sarcastic and funny as hell.
