about me
I'm the founder of Grrl.com. I've written for a bunch for magazines like BUST, Wired and Organic Gardening -- and plenty of underground zines only 5 people have read. I used to host the music video shows "Teletunes" (Denver) and "Subculture" (San Francisco). I spend my waking moments writing, creating art, playing with other people's dogs, pretending I'm a great guitar player and reading forensics books and sleazy tell-all bios.

"Love the store as much as the magazine"
If you're looking for great Asian pop culture coffeetable books, obscure vinyl scupltures and toys and the best selection of hipster tees around go directly to this store. They also have hard-to-find Japanese horror films on DVD for sale. If you h...

"Lower Forty-Eight: Best Trio That Will Rock Your Puny Socks Off!"
Go see this band if you want to not only rock out but see how it's done properly. Lead singer Andy Lund has a powerful voice to be reckoned with, all while serving up guitar riffs to make the lads jealous and the ladies swoon. The bassist's talent...
