</a>
										<div>as th goddess pulls her soft cloak across the face of the moon,
i light a dark and white candle to bring transformation soon.
as the eclipse shows all the lunar phases so bright,
may my psychic talents be seen in a whole new light.

March brings a change in the weather, the rains and final winter snows fall and the ground is beginning to warm. The spring bulbs are sending shoots towards the sky. Ostara, the Spring Equinox is approaching signifying another turn of the wheel. It is the time of the Storm Moon.

The Storm Moon ushers in the new beginnings of spring, and Ostara brings the world to balance. These energies are at the heart of the full moon in March. This is also a time of breakthroughs and breaking through illusion to see the truth. This makes the Storm Moon an excellent time for working towards breaking old habits and breaking through the blocks that prevent you from moving forward.

How can we harness this energy to benefit our lives?

If you have a habit that you are hoping to break, why not make yourself a charm or talisman to carry with you to help keep you focused. Amethyst is a great stone to help prevent overindulgence, if your habit is snacking before bed time, choose a smooth piece of amethyst to charge in the moon. Carry this stone with you during the time you would find yourself snacking and rub it between your fingers, like you would a worry stone. This may help keep your mind focused on your goal.

Looking for a breakthrough or a new beginning? With the energies of Spring and the imagery of new plants breaking through the soil, why not use that energy to work with your own? In a small pot of soil, plant herbs that possess the same qualities that you are looking for. As they grow and you tend to them, visualize and feel your own goals breaking through the things that cover them and reaching for the light. This is also an excellent activity for Ostara celebrations!

This time of year is also an excellent time to gather wood for a wand or besom. Most of the trees are still dormant and ready for pruning. A basic guideline for the length of a wand is to measure the length of your arm from your elbow to the tip of your middle finger. Personally, I say, use whatever length is comfortable for you. So you may want to start with a longer length and trim and smooth the wand until it suits you. Charge the wood in the moon, or spend some time in circle working on your wand to instill it with your energy.

If you would like to bring the energy of the Storm Moon indoors, you can do that by placing vases of spring blooms like daffodils and hyacinth around your home. Find a beautiful pastel altar cloth, or place a piece of aquamarine on your altar.

However you do so, celebrate the new beginnings and the promise of the coming Spring!

February 12, 2007: Picture this: The year is 2025 and you're on the moon. "Home" is 100 meters away—an outpost on the rim of Shackleton Crater. NASA started building it five years earlier, and it is growing fast. You're one of the construction workers.

As always in these polar regions, the sun hangs low, barely above the craggy lunar horizon. You adjust your visor. It amazes you how bright a low sun can be when there's no atmosphere to dim it.

Suddenly, the lights go out.

Up in the sky, a big black disk covers the sun. A red "ring of fire" appears where the sun was only moments before, and its glow turns the ground red beneath your feet.

You've been waiting for this. It's an eclipse.

Right: On the moon, the ground turns red during a lunar eclipse. This photo was taken by Doug Murray of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, during the total lunar eclipse of Oct. 27, 2004. [More]

Astronauts on the moon are going to experience eclipses typically once or twice a year: Earth glides in front of the sun turning lunar day into a strange kind of ruddy night. It'll be one of the highlights of any lunar tour.

The charm of the eclipse comes from Earth. Our planet is big enough by a factor of three to block the entire sun but, curiously, this doesn't cause complete darkness. Rays of sunlight bend around the edge of Earth, filtering through the atmosphere. As seen from the moon, the edge of Earth lights up like a sunset-red ring of fire—one of the most beautiful sights in the solar system. (A simplified, 1.2 MB animation of the process may be seen here. Credit: Graphic artist Larry Koehn.)

Can't wait until 2025? The next eclipse is right around the corner: Saturday, March 3, 2007. Stuck on Earth, we can't see the ring of fire, but we can see the red glow it produces on the moon. The phenomenon will be visible from parts of all seven continents including the eastern half of North America.

Above: A visibility map of the March 3, 2007, total lunar eclipse. Credit: Fred Espenak, NASA/GSFC. [More]

In the USA, the eclipse will already be underway when the moon rises on Saturday evening. Observing tip: Find a place with a clear view of the eastern horizon and station yourself there at sunset. As the sun goes down behind you, a red moon will rise before your eyes.

Rising moons are often reddened by clouds or pollution, but this moon will be the deep, extraordinary red only seen during a lunar eclipse. As you watch it ascend into the night, imagine what it would be like to stand by Shackleton Crater watching from the opposite direction.

It's not so far-fetched. NASA plans to return astronauts to the moon no later than 2020. From their polar base camp, humans will explore the countryside hunting for resources they can use to "live off the land." They'll study the moon's geology, learning more about the unique potential of the moon to reveal ancient secrets of Earth and the solar system. They'll also evaluate technologies needed for future missions to Mars.

And occasionally when the ground turns red, they'll pause and look up at a glowing ring in the sky.

March 3rd is a good night to imagine that.

										<div>Vegetarian Quotes
    "For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love."
         Pythagoras, mathematician

    "The time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men."
          Leonardo da Vinci, artist and scientist

    "To a man whose mind is free there is something even more intolerable in the sufferings of animals than in the sufferings of man. For with the latter it is at least admitted that suffering is evil and that the man who causes it is a criminal. But thousands of animals are uselessly butchered every day without a shadow of remorse. If any man were to refer to it, he would be thought ridiculous. And that is the unpardonable crime."
        Romain Rolland, author, Nobel Prize 1915

    "If a group of beings from another planet were to land on Earth -- beings who considered themselves as superior to you as you feel yourself to be to other animals -- would you concede them the rights over you that you assume over other animals?"
          George Bernard Shaw, playwright, Nobel Prize 1925

    "What is it that should trace the insuperable line? ...The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?"
        Jeremy Bentham, philosopher

    "In their behavior toward creatures, all men are Nazis. Human beings see oppression vividly when they're the victims. Otherwise they victimize blindly and without a thought."
          Isaac Bashevis Singer, author, Nobel Prize 1978

    "Our task must be to free ourselves . . . by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty."
    "Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances of survival for life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
          Albert Einstein, physicist, Nobel Prize 1921

    "I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being."
          Abraham Lincoln, 16th U.S. President

    "You have just dined, and however scrupulously the slaughterhouse is concealed in the graceful distance of miles, there is complicity."
          Ralph Waldo Emerson, essayist

    "As long as there are slaughterhouses, there will be battlefields."
   "What I think about vivisection is that if people admit that they have the right to take or endanger the life of living beings for the benefit of many, there will be no limit to their cruelty."
          Leo Tolstoy author

    "I cannot fish without falling a little in self-respect...always when I have done I feel it would have been better if I had not fished."
          Henry David Thoreau, author

    "While we ourselves are the living graves of murdered beasts, how can we expect any ideal conditions on this earth?"
   "Atrocities are not less atrocities when they occur in laboratories and are called medical research."
          George Bernard Shaw

    "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
    "To my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being."
        Mahatma Gandhi, statesman and philosopher

    "I am not interested to know whether vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't...The pain which it inflicts upon unconsenting animals is the basis of my enmity toward it, and it is to me sufficient justification of the enmity without looking further."
          Mark Twain, author

     "Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages."

    </a>
										<div>Bartender Myths - SO TRUE!
Current mood:  amused

For all my fellow service industry friends... READ! So funny, and so true!

The Barman Speaks
http://www.metroactive.com/metro/06.21.06/bartender-myths-0625.html

Our resident bartender skewers the Top 10 myths about drinkmasters

By Ryan Osterbeck

Most people would sell their soul along with Grandma's house and their yarbels for the ability to roll into work at 9pm, pour drinks, drink said drinks, listen to music, dance, party and flirt. Such is the perceived life of a bartender. Sure, we socialize and basically have fun, but some facts need to separated from fiction.

Most bar patrons have severe misconceptions about the actual lives of bartenderswho we are, what we do and why we do it. Also, remember that the interaction between bartender and customer is a delicate one; it's both an economic and a social relationship that has stood the test of time. Most other relationships in life are fleeting but, if managed properly, the partnership between drinkers and their bartenders is sacred. Consider this a pocket-size operating manual for our mutual good times. And, if these points are taken to heart, we can continue to raise our collective glasses and toast to our long, drunken future together.

So forget all those third-person fluff pieces you've read everywhere else. Here it is: the plain truth about bartending, from someone who knows.

Myth 1: Bartenders have the best job.

Swing and a miss. Our job may or may not be more fun than yours, but take a moment to swallow down this shot: While all of you are drinking and having fun, we're working. It is, after all a job. If it was all fun and games, they'd call it something else. And, after you guys are sitting comfortably at My Burger, Denny's and the Mini G with your double cheeseburgers, grand slam breakfasts and Monte Cristos, I'm most likely wiping down bottles, cleaning floor grates and counting money with one eye.

Myth 2: Bartenders love their jobs.

We don't. We do it for money, plain and simple. Bartending gives us the freedom to do other things with our lives, like ... drink with other bartenders.

Myth 3: You can out-drink the bartender.

A more wrong statement has never been uttered; you can't, so don't even try. But, if you're buying, I'll certainly entertain the challenge. I don't care how much you think you can drinkany bartender anytime, anywhere can put you under the table, period. I once made a quick Benjamin by betting that my 110-pound hottie co-worker could down a Three Wise Men shot faster than this supposed "anchorman" drinker from some nameless frat could. Needless to say, the taunts of "You got beat by a chick" echoed loudly and relentlessly through the bar all night long.

Myth 4: Bartenders need to earn tips.

We don'twe need to earn good tips. Tipping a dollar per drink is your obligation by virtue of stepping through the door and walking up to the bar. Everybody should be prepared to do it. And that's dollar as in papercoins scream cheap ass. If you say "Keep the change" and there happen to be coins involved, that's OK. If the coins in any way touch you, however, they're yours. We make minimum wage and rely on our tips to survive, I don't need the extra 15 minutes of parking. If you can't afford to tip, you can't afford to drink in a bar.

Myth 5: Whistling to get a bartender's attention is appropriate.

Are you going to fill my food bowl and play fetch with me, too? Really, there's no better way to ensure that you won't get a drink. If you need to get my attention, make eye contact or raise your hand slightly. Believe me, we see you; we know who has gotten a drink and who hasn't. We also know the exact order in which patrons arrived at the bar. There's a line; get in it.

Myth 6: Bartenders will wait for you.

We won't. If you hesitate more than three seconds after I look at you, you really must not want a drink. If you're buying drinks for friends, give me the whole order at once. And for God's sake have your money ready; you know it's going to cost something, so be prepared. Never turn around and ask other people what they want while the bartender is standing there. Never ask what's on tap or what's goodthe taps are usually right in front of you and we don't distill the liquor fresh every morning. If the bartender is slammed, we don't have time to get into a lengthy discussion about your personal tastes and preferences. And don't forget: you really don't need a half shaken, half stirred, super dry, slightly dirty premium martini with a twist, three olives and an onion to make yourself look good or feel better.

Myth 7: You're smarter than the bartender.

You're not. Probably 90 percent of bartenders have college degrees or master's degrees and can most likely whoop your ass at Jeopardy. Also, never argue your tabyou're drunk, we're sober. There is no malicious force putting unwarranted drinks on your tab; if it's on there, you drank it or bought it for somebody. It's a moot point whether or not you can remember it.

Myth 8: Bartenders remember everybody's name.

We don't. We remember drinks. If you say "Put it on my tab," then tell me your name. Also, if a bartender asks you what you want, don't say "another" unless you've been sitting at the bar and drinking the same thing for a while. If you haven't been at the bar for a while and lift an empty glass, I have no clue what once occupied it. If you say beer, please tell me what kind, and if you order a drink that can be served in different ways, tell me how you'd like it: salt or no salt, on the rocks or up, draft or bottle. If I was a mind reader, it's a sure bet I'd be in Vegas.

Myth 9: Bartenders are responsible for you.

Actually, this could go either way. If I know your name, I care about you, but ultimately you're responsible for your own actions. If you spill a drink, clean it upand no, the bartender is not required to give you a new one, unless they actually spilled it. If you do get a new one for free, tip. In fact, you should always tip on free drinks. If you're drunk and need a cab, the bartender will get you one, but don't expect me to pay for it or give the cabbie directions. Once you're out the door, you're on your own. If you spill a drink on the floor or break a glass, alert a staff member and they'll clean it up. Never break a glass and just leave it on the bar; if I get cut and start bleeding like a sieve, everyone suffers.

Myth 10: Bartenders want your phone number.

Hey, if you come in regularly, tip well and don't cause a ruckus; of course the bartender will recognize you and probably float you a drink, but this in no way joins us at the hip. Which brings us to phone numbers. We'll take it ... but will we actually use it? I could wallpaper my house with all the phone numbers via cocktail napkins that I've gotten. Never ask for a bartender's phone number; we don't give them out. You already know where we work, and asking for a phone number or sending flowers to the bar is creepy. But you can sure as hell buy us a drink to get in our collective good graces. Guys, female bartenders do not want your number. They are not flirting with you because they like you; they are flirting because they are genuinely friendly or, if not that, because they like your money. Bartenders are not just looking for the next lay; that would be akin to shooting fish in a barrel. Nine times out of 10, bartenders are in a solid relationship; flirting is just part of the job. If you want someone else's phone number at the bar, the bartender will certainly help you, but keep in mind that I am neither Dr. Ruth nor Dr. Phil, and really don't care if you score or not.

Last Call: Bartenders are not rock stars, we all lead painfully normal lives and shouldn't be pigeonholed because of our jobs. Buy us a drink and we'll take care of you; treat us how you'd want to be treated and we'll do the same. But, treat us wrong and be prepared for a sober night of ridicule and shame. Yeah, we're in some way obligated to serve you, and believe it or not, how we serve you is entirely in your hands.

8 facts/secrets/things about myself most people didn't know

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/bonnierose/blog/9df0c32b-15c4-474f-83f6-b0dbbabcadec">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/e33/98c/e3398cc6-9562-4132-bd7f-d10ec121c879.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>ok, so my dear Ludo has tagged me that i have to write a blog entry revealing 8 facts/secrets/things about myself that most people don't know....well because its Ludo, i'll do it. at least its not one of those things that say 'if you don't you will have bad luck in bed for six years', or 'if you don't do it you will smell bad and grow a tail'....those are lameO.

ok, so, i think most people know a lot about me, if you don't, feel free to ask. i'm not to secretive you see.

first, i brush my teeth in the shower with my left hand even though i'm a righty i try and exercise the other side of my body in hopes to more balance out my brain use and possible become ambidextrous

second, i love water. all aspects of it, to drink it, to be in it, to feel its droplets, to splash in it....i never much enjoyed sparkling water, even when i lived in Italy and that's all anyone drank, now i love the stuff and probably drink it more then flat water.

third, i have like four crushes right now.....

fourth, sometimes i have really evil thoughts, like when a motorcycle drives close by me on the freeway going like 80 mph, i think how funny it would be to open my door. or when someone is bending over say to tie their shoe, i thing how funny it would be to push them over.....no i never act on these ergs.

and then...i want to disappear one day. go somewhere new and be someone different, or maybe someone more pure, and not tell anyone where or when or why, just do it and not tell anyone anything. only for a short time, then come back and not tell anyone where or why or how i was.

and then...i never was the shoe buy'n kinda girl, tell i lived in italy, then now that i can/have to wear cute girly shoes for work i love to buy cute girly shoes, even if they kinda hurt my feet (a concept i always found so silly)

and then....i'm always looking for new ways to objectify my experience of the world though my art (visual, textual, or musical) and open for ideas...got any??

finally, i love more then i can explain the wonderful people that have come threw my life and think about many of them often and the ways they have effected me...moments of our life touched by them. i often wonder if have any idea that i'm thinking of time we have spent. i'm grateful for all the people that made me the woman i am today. thank you

										<div>when i was 17 i purchased my first car. a 1993 Chevy Corsica. i kept it around for some time because i was saving money to study in Italy and didn't want to have a car when i took off for a year. so i gave the car to my mom, who was car-less at the time i took off, and when i returned i used it to get around. basically this car had hit the piece-O-shit mark years ago and was on its last string. Silvia was a great car and she did me well.

last Wednesday i said good bye to her and HELLOO to my new sexy little 2005 Honda civic....please welcome Natasha

    </a>
										<div>welcome Kathrine and Adam ! ! ! ! (photo above)

i am so happy to welcome my new sister and brother as of yesterday, April 19th 2006. the joy of spring is flourishing in all parts of my life and i seem to have fallen in a peaceful bliss of love and joy with the arrival of so much new excitement and love.

the first warm sunny stretch of days has brought the rainbows from the stormy sky's to the colorful hill sides of blooming flowers recently brown and dead, they now spring with life.

and the new life's borough into this world by my father, Dan, and his loving wife, Julie. after a long hall they made it threw; on the other side was a whole new chapter for all of our family.

my brother Jake and i have been blessed with not only new siblings but a chance of a life time to be apart of these people. to help mold, teach, inspire, guide, and most of all love....

the moment i saw their sweet little face/fingers/toes.... damn everything..... i was in love. i felt like a true miracle had fallen into my hands; each weighing a little over six pounds (really big for twins! - way to go Julie).

so now it all begins for them and it all changes for us. the gifts we get in life are what makes our books page turners. our books not yet finished......

love always,

make a new friend tuesday

    </a>
										<div>I love Tuesdays. They seem to always be a good day for me. Filled with achieving and relaxing and movement and peace. It’s a day I look forward to and look back on as a good day. It’s a day I would like to share with all of you and many more to come.

So I declare Tuesdays to be make a new friend day. Is there someone here in ‘From Me to You’ you’d like to get to know better. Or has someone’s words or blog or pictures caught your eye here on tribe. Or maybe you have a regular place you go everyday and see the same person and you don’t even know their name (think your morning cup of coffee at the shop around the corner from work; of the front desk girl at your gym; or the guy three desks down from you). Or is there an acquaintance you’ve been meaning to get to know better/make friends with, a neighbor you see all the time and smile at but don’t know. Send’um an email, introduce your self, ask a question about their life.

Today is the day for you to reach out and start a friendship. In fact every Tuesday I challenge you to add one person to your network, for the more people we touch the higher our sprits will sour.

    </a>
										<div>he called me bird, not for my skinny legs or long nose, but for my spread wings that have and will take me threw the adventures that life will show me. apart of my change i have desided to make i want to start to better allow people into my life. date, meet new people, go out beiond work and school, interact with as many people as possible.

the migrations of birds is something i have watched over my life. living in colorado has alowed me to see familys of birds move threwout the change of seasons. their gracefull moves and free spirts are the qualities he saw in me.

i've never thought of this, and coming from a man who has experienced great adventures himself, it really made me wonder how i am seen and of cource reflect on who i am actively being. i recently went have done and still am reflected about this very thing in more of a negitive aspect overall.

i have been going threw some ruffeling of my feathers and it has brought me 'down'/lowered my altitued (that being my normal-natual high on life). i know that sometimes its hard for everyone, i know that things can bring us down and I know that i can always find the brighter side of things. latly those beems of light have been fewer and further apart.

i seem to be effected by more that is around me, more of the stuff that i used to shuge off and laugh at

i dont know if this is a finished painting...... </div>

the art of left overs....

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/bonnierose/blog/21ef3ad4-a636-4a9e-a4ec-75fc81715122">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/93a/bff/93abffb9-b380-4f88-8a99-1effab935c09.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>

i made a yummee organic four cheese pizza with specially added pepperocinnis, garlic and pepper flacks to spice it up for lunch today. i was quite hungry because i had been running around and went for a great workout this afternoon. when the cheese had melted and crust was toasty, i sliced it up and took it with me out to my front porch where i enjoyed both the food and atmosphere.

now 1/3 of the pizza, one serving, is 210 kcal and 13g of protean. i was hungry and the pizza was filling, but i was having a debate about how much i should save for latter, knowing that i wasn't going to be able to finish it all in this sitting. but i kept eating tell i was full, but i realized there was only 3 slices left/less then half the pizza. so i had one more thinking i would just leave a snack for latter.

now this is where the art of left overs comes in. how much do you leave. if its snack food you leave enough for a snack. but who wants to just snack on and entree type food, so in this case you have to leave enough for a whole other meal. or if you think it could be useful as a side dish for a new meal.

i eat a lot at the restaurant i work at, the portions at restaurants are always to much for me to eat and I'm not to big on eating the same thing a few times in a row. I'm even less into waisting food though. so i always bring back my left overs... i try to give them to my house mates but they are just as busy with life as i am and forget about the food, letting it go bad in the refrigerator.

in fact i cant tell you how many times i clean out old to go food in my house.

now maybe the true art of left overs is to transform the food into new exciting meals and I'm sure there is a cook book or TV show for that...

anyhoo waist not want not i guess.

{oh the pic posted is from this little sea side fish and pizza place in southern italy where we ate and drank more then i can remember and ThEn was served this pizza...oh boy was i about to pop and italians dont do doggie bags}

a rainbow landed in my front yard today....

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/bonnierose/blog/1c8be9b9-b105-486b-9874-95d9b307ca2e">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/3f6/89c/3f689cff-3511-4c41-bf01-3cabd08ac088.thumb" width="65" height="36" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>
ok, so maybe it only seemed as though that is where on end of this full rainbow was planted as i noticed it when i left the gym this afternoon after an amazing long overdue workout.

back to the gym this week i was sore from yesterdays workout but it was only a reminder of how important physical activity is to me. the last two weeks i had only been a few times plus a hike because i have been so under the weather.

on the cross trainer, my heart rate increased and temperature rose, this is the point were my mind really starts to open along with my muscles. in ipod land my time at the gym or on a hike or walk (especially out doors) is were i feel most able to really open my mind, reevaluate what i'm doing, what i want and need from/for my body, also think about new projects, old unfinished projects - new people/relationships, past people/relationships...

then my mind drifted to sex. my last sexual encounter, the excitement of the next.....and then back to my art and how this energy is all revolving around my passion....and how best must i go about using and spreading this energy?!?

before i know it my 30min is done - i look down to see the work out summery flashing...i stop in a balance on the machine.... i drink water. i drink more. i feel it move out all the stuck energy that has now been relieved from my muscles. a weight is lifted...

and then i go lift weights. -- now strengthening my ideas and my body i am able to concentrate on specific areas of my body's strength and my minds thoughts.

before my workout is complete i must stretch and help all to come back to a center. a few yoga and dance moves along with breathing and focus on only my body and movement, i find my center once again. ready for what ever the world has to offer me as i leave the gym.

and what dose it have for me besides total beauty, well at least that is all i see. the sun kisses my skin with it warmth and a cool breeze blows over my body caring away any unwanted energy, a few rain drops wash away the sweat that has carried out the unwanted from with in threw my pours....

i make my drive home and notice an amazing rainbow that looks to land in the front yard of my new home; a giant smile comes across my face. i look around to see if anyone else notices its beauty, i look for someone to share my smile and joy with as we sit facing it at the red light; sadly i find no one who seemed to even notice any thing but what is in their head and the color of the traffic light....

to me this is just another gift, maybe this rainbow was just for me. a reminder of the beauty that is out there - even if no one else sees it - i must continue to drive toward it - fly with it - and inspire from it.

hope you all have found some magic in your own day....</div>

    </a>
										<div>this is a photo of me and my moms-boyfriends-son tommy (13yrs old) and me baking cookies the other night, something i haven't had a chance to do with my mother in years, being that we have been in different places during the holidays for over five years now. that was a nice treat considering the fact i will be working all day on Christmas eve (and by all day i mean from 10:30am to 1:30am). it was nice to spend a little time with them. tommy has really taken a liking to me, yes you may say, well he's a 13 year old boy, of course he likes you....but its more that he looks up to me, I'm like his older cool sister.

I've been on the new pad hunt this week, i really had my heart set on getting a studio and living alone before i journey off to the city in June. but after all i ended up on Craig's list looking to rent a room in a house. -ends up i can find a bigger space in the area i want for Way less then a studio, in fact i wasn't finding any studios in the area i wanted to live, which was the most important factor for me. so i emailed a Craig's list add for a bedroom with two guys in Campbell, ends up i know the dude renting the room, in fact I've known him for some time now, he's even a 'my space friend' of mine. i looked at a few other places but this one seems to be the best fit. So I'm moving in on Monday! and he's even sweet enough to offer to help me move in with his truck.

it will be nice, cus i'm kinda sick of my dads wife and her pregnant tood.

other good news -- i sold one of my paintings! it feels really cool, i'm like an artist or something!

oh and i am loving this rain, the weather is so cool... i spent the morning in my fuzzy bed just listening to the drops hit all the differendt surfaces out side. makes me want to stay in all day and cuddle and drink hot tea and watch a movie or just listen to the elements outside...anyone want to come over and cuddel with me?</div>

    </a>
										<div>the last two/three weeks have been full and busy. finishing up this fall semester with many papers and projects and presentation along with working and trying to find a place to move to, my free time has been few and fare between. my last test was Thursday morning in business law, after i went to the lab to finish all my projects for Advanced Auto CAD. i went to the dentist that afternoon and got a clean and clear job well done no cavities, i seem to always have cavities no matter how much i brush and floss, he said some people are just that way.

i was lucky to have a Thursday night off and got to spend it with some of my favorite people just hanging out, something i haven't had a chance to do in some time because of my rigorous work and school schedule.

this weekend i pulled another Friday and Saturday 13hour double shift action and relaxed this morning before going to work at four. i enjoyed my soft fuzzy bed as the rain fell down out side my window and the gray overcast light peaked threw the blinds. I'm looking forward to this week, crazy as it may be, i see a lot of change in my near future as the year rolls to an end and i become one digit older and leaps and bounds wiser.

i just found out i will be most likely working a 13-15 hour day on Christmas eve, leaving no time to spend with my mother and her new family and my brother. i was pretty upset that i would be working at both jobs that day, but Christmas couldn't fall on a worse day then Sunday for me. my boss thinks its a good idea to be open with a full staff on Christmas eve night as if people are really going to be going out. fact is that no one will probably even know we are going to be open. and unfortunate most of the people there will probably be lonely souls with no one to be home with. sad as it may be i see the holidays bring out more depression in people then one would think. the lonelyness can eat away at someone.

not only depression, but bitter and angry too. I've worked in the mall or in a shopping area during Christmas (excluding the year in Italy - last year) every year for the last nine and see more and more hate and rood people who are selfishness and in their own worlds in the parking lot and halls, the fitting rooms and check out lines, the food court and bathrooms then anyother time of year.

I've always wanted to ask if one who acts in this manner -- you know who/what I'm talking about if you have ever gone to the mall the Saturday before Christmas, -- i want to ask if they really feel good and joy full and all that this time of year and 'giving' are supposed to be about when they give that gift that they got in a fight and upset in the parking lot and was rood as hell to the poor kid just try'n to make some holiday cash, or if to them its just about 'having' to give gifts and the more it cost the more impressive it is, oh and what they will receive in return.....

I'm not blabbing about this cus I'm bitter or anything. i work in the service industry, i see the way people treat each other, they are all examples of how i should or should not lead my life. they bull shit and anger have all showed me the importance and appreciation of what i have. oh and if your still reading this -- i appreciate you cus you've taken the time to care what i have to say.

I'm so excited about the next year of my life, the year of my 23rd has been remarkable. i was living in Italy at this time last year and had no idea what was in store for me. now with the knowledge and experiences i have had over the past twelve months i have come so far. that growth is such incentive to keep on moving forward with such force and passion. the moment is mine and i choose to seize it</div>

The truth about Miss Muffet?

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/bonnierose/blog/160426e4-be4d-4270-9978-632b454347ad">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/06a/fa8/06afa8de-b3c7-489b-89d8-44dad77f7fd1.thumb" width="65" height="64" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>
Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet
Eating her curds and whey.
Along came a spider,
And sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet away.

Miss Patience Muffet's father, the Reverend Dr Thomas Muffet (1553-1604), believed passionately that spiders could cure many ailments. He wrote that having plenty of spiders in the house prevented gout, and that the dung and urine of house spiders cured running eyes!

He often tried these spider cures on his poor daughter Patience. Could this be why she was so frightened of spiders?

Ok - so i'm not frightened of spiders per say. its just i don't want them in my BED. as i rolled over this morn'n after a nice calm sleep, the first in some time now, i moved a some blankets to make the bed and hang'n out right there, about five in. from where my face was only moments earlier ---- e a aaa ww w -- a BIG ass spider. i don't even know what kind it was, but not you house hold pet - i'll tell you that. he was giving me the mean eyes and looked as though he wanted to jump in my face and bite my eyeball.

now i'm not one to kill anything, great or small. but if chu in my bed i'm gonna kick your ass! so i had one chance and that was it, or he'd get away and come back for me in my sleep.

i won.

my 3,487 % bigger then him won.

*sigh*

i'll sleep better knowing...........unless he had friends! eeak!

    </a>
										<div>Tonight we dance like no tomorrow..... yeah Enrique -- let the rhythm take you over, live this life forever -- Bailamos!!!

ok, so I'm having a great week - got offered two pretty awesome jobs, one being a starting position doing sales and little interior design work right down the street from where i live.

I've been really busy, big business law test i was up all night studying for and all day catching up on school work after class all morning. I Have So Much Work To Do! i went to a local brewery and had a wheat beer with a lemon as a worked on a paper about gay marriage and got hit on by two adorable chubby black men in pink shirts.

got home and started getting things cleaned up around the house so i can continue working on this painting I'm very excited about. i have the music on a shuffle of the hundreds of songs i have, so new and exciting songs i haven't heard in some time, or ever at that, are coming up....hence the Bailamos.

my body's tired, still have this cough that wont go away. my shoulder is killing me, i did something to it at the gym and made it worse by carring a try full of drinks and mixing cocktails all weekend.

but i was supposed to start this job tomorrow so i was excited....oh but wait. i just got a phone call from the manager; sorry to inform you but, someone who worked here before for a few years wants her job back and we cant hire you any more, but we'll keep you on the top of the list....BUMMER!

i was really looking forward to mixing things up and doing sales to counteract my two bar jobs. and most of all to start talking interior design. but this a stirred me up to really push and look for some work in the field.

hey, not that i have any time, i was a little unsure how well i was gonna pull off working three jobs and going to school full time. i figured i had 6 hours on Sunday and 5 on Tuesday to myself, and that was it....

so maybe its for the better. I'm just a little bummed. oh, and the schedule of classes came out for the spring, and as i suspected i wont be able to finish my advanced (four yr) certificate in interior design because they don't offer the classes i need.... talk about frustration....sigh....

maybe SF is closer then i thought.........

I'm gonna grab a glass of wine and paint all night.

thanks for stopen by! BACI

ciao-ciao</div>
