Yay! I need to get a video camera and practice watching myself like this. I think it's better than hooping in front of a mirror even!
I echo a lot of the nice comments posted in the Hooping Videos tribe re. your style and tricks. I loved the under arm breaks! Won't you please teach me those? :) For a critique, I might suggest practicing transitions. Look at those moments in the video where the hoop fell, for example, and practice those transitions to make them seamless. There was one movement where you are spinning around, and when you stopped, it caught you up every time. Perhaps practice a shorter, 3-minute piece with seamless transitions, as if you were going to perform it in front of an audience, like ballroom dancing! Then perhaps rearrange the tricks in a different order, and practice those transitions. Yay, Bouncy! Beautiful work! :) |

Always good to move the bong out of the way before practicing with the hoop.
I never have this problem because unlike you, I don't have enough room indoors to hoop. =D this ain't L.A. |
