<div>---------------------------
Describing, you know, this feeling
--------Tuesday, July 31rst, 2007 6:00p.m @ Lincoln &amp; Peoria St. in Parker, CO Caribou Coffee

								"Cool air -
										wet skin.
								 Fresh pepper -
your nose	before a sneeze." --Tim Seibles

Sometimes I sit and imagine what it would be like if I were a tree,
and waking up at dawn every morning with a bee buzzing around
my sex, soft flowers still wet from the night and her dew.
Then the sun starts to shine. Oh, man -
or maybe a butterfly.

Either way I think it would tickle.

Either way give thanks, rise up greet
bless this new day.
I mean,
we've got to keep going, right?

If there's only the here and now, then what are all these memories?

Today I'm riding the train back to Boulder, Colorado
looking out and over my shoulder
the mountains rolling over &amp; over
and from here you can see the Rocky Mountains
on the horizon, and they look like mountains on the
horizon, but they roll, an endless rolling . . .

So we're born with this body, a mostly bald body
and oddly given maybe eighty years
out of nothing, and now we live, now nothing.

It's just, I always imagined things differently.
(not that it's not)
and I keep trying to explain.

It's easy enough to imagine myself
as a newborn calve, kicking my
way out of mother's womb,
and then maybe that cow (my mother)
licking the afterbirth
compulsively, instinctually
licking the afterbirth
and then maybe I can remember
that first half stretch,
that first calf stretch -
that's all really.

It's still somehow a body.
back to the body, always
back to the body, never
too far from the body, even out
of body, the body still there.

Even if I were a tree, it would still be a body
and I'd somehow be dancing, or in the wind, gently rocking

I think I've figured it out. In the suburbs, lots of sex - we close
our faux venetian blinds, go down on one another. We fall
asleep naked against the faux propane fireplace,
wake up later to read an article on offshore finance,
then doze back off - tax free.

There's a price some pay for a chance to stand on top of the world,
and the odds are against you,
odds are and as for the dead or dying,
you leave them.

    </a>
<div>Up, up &amp; the hair, the air up there. We're up, up so upful soft, aloft in these trees dangling there - angling this way now here now there. The breeze you can seem to feel it (and all the swaying). This tree-top canopy buzz, a bee-bop stammering, "This Christmas, my isthmus - my wish was this itch was, which was . . ." Tongue-tied, and dangling. Hung, wide and wrangling. Pineing on eaves, leaves drip dropping, mopping the sunlight, the one light - up, up &amp; the hair. This tree-top canopy horizon. Angiosperms poking me in the eye.

<div>-- "Ginsberg says Gog &amp; Magog, Gog &amp; Magog"

I've moved out from under my rock, quite literally, and now am living in suburbia. Hmmm. It affords quite a different view. There is something about this place, and I wish I could pin the tail on the money, but it's just . . . The local hardware stores are Ace &amp; Home Depot. The local markets are Target and SuperTarget. It's very convenient. If Target doesn't have what you're looking for, you can always drive across the street to the SuperTarget (tm). I've been living here for three or four months and it's been rumoured that there are actually other "people" who live in the houses next door, though I haven't actually seen any of them. I do see plenty of cars drive by though.

I've seen a few pieces of surburban installation art, but now it's great actually living in one. It feels like I'm inside of a pop artist's vision, like when I hit the remote to open my garage I'm apart of something bigger. I think I would cry if everyone started coming home everyday at 5 and house after house down the block the garages started to open in perfect unison, each driver waving on the next, dinner ready &amp; on the table of the hard working bread winner. It would just be friggin' beautiful. Ahhh! ! !

<div>As the tree buds bud the sun comes higher now, just a little bit higher now - and it's shining. There are two Tulips blooming soon come in the neighbors yard. Yesterday I saw two chipmunks making love. Today? There's a reason for everything. Waking up early in the morning, and booming to life. Giving thanks and praises in the mid-day too, and in the evening time. Maybe a glass of water if there's ice-cubes on the lawn even better. Maybe a bite of something crunchy. Running around the block with a big grin on your face. All you need now is a biscuit. Harmony &amp; blessings. Love &amp; light, and a biscuit.

<div>If your chocolate were to kiss my chocolate, then oh how soft the mixing done! Harmony &amp; blessings on the Up-Dub, and into the new year. Pablo Neruda said, "I want to do to you what spring does to the cherry trees." I haven't said anything yet. Sometimes I feel that way. Just how I feel like - now I know. Waking up from a nap, covered in snow. Either which way we go, just know. Your river, lake, ocean, your flow. Gently rocking, now to, now fro. (Just don't get crazy on me though.) I know we been through this before. We seem to been through this before. A blissful feeling, earlier in the morning. How soft your windows slowly open, this time like honey drip, drip, drips your ocean. So drip, baby. Drip - as you are now.</div>

<div>New! After years of meticulously cumbersome cumberbuns perplexingly reflexing our thoughts, first my thoughts then your thoughts (and back again) we've done it. Eureeka! Order your love and light infiltration system today. More powerful than reverse osmosis. More efficient than chanting Hare Krishna to your ice-cubes. Feel these moonbeams creeping in, steeping in and (though most sodas post aromas) this tea bag's steaming been done through that, ride this victory train, your tongue - my rung, ring. Swing, batter batter, swing. Better than ever. You can almost seem to see it, me it. We it. You be five, four, three it seems these daydream footprints, years since it's felt this way. Ya dig? (Deluxe includes modular astrological star chart, your choice - kinky black vinyl, white rabbit, or fresh flax linen) Not only is it didactic, it's multi-syllabic! Woo-whoo. Feel the love &amp; light infiltration your mind beams. This time your magic.</div>

<div>The river is trickle-trickling and the wind tickle-tickling and the end sickle-cycling back. Soon come the frozen drizzle and icicles driple-dripling and the foggy dew filled breath trippling. Snow on the beard, and all of the holy places. Shivering to life, Oooh! Ram Ram, and waking up from a nap covered in snow. Maybe that sun will come out again. A patch of clear, blue sky - but then...dark clouds roll through and the sky gets dim. Damp and the dark, it's got me wonderin....maybe that sun will come out again. Boom to life, and the upfullness there. Harmony &amp; blessings throughout the day, and a cup of steamy earth consciousness in a cup you like to hold. Quickly, you must decide! It is either these lustful eyes, or turn our backs and get wet.</div>

<div>Harmony &amp; blessings. Love &amp; light, and blissfull thinking. Rise up with the morning son, and boom to life! Give thanks and praise in the morning. Noticing the health and wealth of loving-kindness in the eyes of strangers and wanting to get to know the divine in all her forms. May life be as mystical and magical as the mysterious mythos of legend and dreams. And remembrance, manifest in all forms and directions. Be conscious! In livity &amp; upfullness, for sure!!!</div>

<div>Applied to Naropa University and waiting for response. Was a little late so may have to wait until springtime. Writing &amp; literature looks like a great program there. Last week went to an awesome poetry reading with performances by people in something called the living theatre of New York. Really wonderful readings and performances. http://www.naropa.edu</div>

My friend received a scholarship for credits at Solar Energy International in Carbondale, Colorado. I was able to visit and sit in on a class, and read through this manual at the coffeshop. So far he's taken natural building materials, photovoltaics, and next is advanced photovoltaics. They've also got a biodiesel school bus they're converting into veggie oil - and he welds, too. Very exciting to witness these ongoing projects. Sampling the organic varieties of the dagga, ganja weed isn't so bad, either. My favorite has still got to be "the cough." It's hilarious, I mean, it's in the name.
