Self esteem, maintaining connection with my Soul/Eternal Self, weight training, being in and appreciating my body, wholefood diet, being with Crystals & Gems, living in Natural surroundings, revering Gaia/Nature, not having unappreciative humans in my life, a good laugh, making love, seeing my glass as half full and honouring how I feel when I see it as half empty, allowing ALL I feel and ALL I think to BE felt and thought. Looking at Bragitta's beautiful art! :D

Moderate Stress
Adapt Function Fairly Protect Optimism it's not as clinical as it could sound acting naturally usually suffices doing less and less harm as the days move on healing is not just for feeling ill exercising every available freedom seeking access to freedoms that seem so far away right now I'm meditating about 4 hours a day over the past 4 months welcoming each new experience as a reunited friend |

health
well, I am one seriously sick puppy. Injured in a chemical accident..with CO, CO2, paint fumes and polyurethane.
So, I gotz to do tons of things for my health. Supplements (Vitamins, minerals and herbs), O2, eating natural and organic food, drinking spring water, Hatha Yoga, shiatsu, acupuncture, chiropractic, Alexander Technique, cranio-sacral therapy, Feldenkrais (have done...not all at once), and meditations. |

Every year on New Year's I pick 2 words I'd like to focus on for myself in the coming year. It's my version of the traditional resolution. This year I picked "awareness" and "health".
Awareness in this context meant for me to focus on staying aware of not just things around me, but the affect of choices I make or don’t make on both myself and everything and one around me. And health encompasses the whole mind/body connection, as well as spiritual. So what am I doing to manifest that in my life? Supplements. Walking. I meditate daily with a binaural beat audio program. I just got out of a 12 year stagnant relationship. Creating a network of friends that offer support and love. Eating better. Lately I've been picking foods that are really basic, still in their natural state or close to...low processing. Smile. Say yes more. Love like I've never loved before. Have compassion for my fellow human. Volunteer. Dance when no one is watching. Sing with the frogs in harmony. Forgive. |

bless up to your joy~*
* honouring where you are I think is important to maintaining health..
being still enough to connect to the energy that calls out for whatever it may be expressing and unraveling it little bit by bit.. for your part in it; how it reacts with the greater whole and what that organism creates.. in you and outside of you - satiated you can move through it.. I'm reminded of Frank Herbert's "Dune" mantra right now for some reason.. cleansing .. works wonders creative active expression ( thanks Bragitta xo) organic nature- be it staring into a plant and having an epiphany or climbing into the limbs of a tree and reading;writing;drawing;dreaming.. connecting from there giving thanks for sacrifice .. releasing activating your energies * vitamins are great but expensive xo aloha love n kissz |

I am very healthy; I have no stress in my life; I wake up happy every day.
I practice yoga every morning; I exercise a lot with my friends. I enjoy simple things and quality food most of the time. I have great control over my life and work for myself only a few days a week. Yes it is easy for me to be healthy. |

I try to be aware of the environment I'm in and the people I'm with and minimize the toxic ones.
I eat healthy. I garden. I exercise. |

Everyday I open my eyes is a good day; I'll take what comes from there. Follow the Force: never second guess your gut; even when logic tells you something different. Treat everyone as you wish to be treated, even if they don't. Make a difference. No regrets, no do-overs, and if you can't do anything about it, fuck it.

Eating lots of meat and animal fats.
Keeping off the internet sometimes. Specifically doing what is good for me, in spite of 99.99% of people telling me to do things that harm me. (ie. Looking after myself and listening to myself). |

Motherhood
So, Mostly I do what feels right and what my body and karma ask of me.
However, as a Mother, we are constantly looking for "what is right" cuz we're always reading someone else. My someone else is constantly being fed unhealthy foods by other people, and also unhealthy habits. So, there are some tricks of the trade. AT home: We are vegitarians in the house. No meat is stored here, bought from my money, or cooked here, unless there is a severe yin deficiency, or if a gift of dried organic jerky has been given and my daughter excepts (this is stored, cuz it does not bring in the diseases meat does to the house). We do eat eggs, but they must be free rangers that eat quality food and whom we've met. Breakfast must include quality fats, proteins, and fibers, and also must have a dash of sweetness. MOrning is the best time for sugar snacks, cuz we metabolize it from our systems quickly. If we are sick, we first reach for the whole foods that will remedy it. LOTS OF SOY (only organic)!!! and a bit of yogurt Morning sun is imperitive. Water, Water, Water, and some kobucha. No coffee. No chocolate, and plenty of walking, smiling, and meeting of strangers, hugging, chanting, dancing, and loving of kin. Then, a healthy sprinkling of tasty treats that may rot our systems. And compassion and the understanding that all is transitory. And I check in with my chakras, talk to them, and keep my kundalini strong and proud and excited. Yes. Health. Compassion. Overstanding. Fun. It all rolls together..... |

Differences
We make these lists and send them out.
and others pick them up. The truth is, beyond happy compassion and deep understanding, Each body needs different nutrients and diets and excersise (don't like the word, but it fits here). |

Health, Hmm. I have 4 jobs. & I love all of them. 2 Indoor & social, 2 outdoor & quite isolated. I treat myself every week & buy myself a big bag of blueberries, & a special plant from the nursey (one of my jobs), I get into growing my own food, & herbs & this grounds me. I like to have hot baths after hard physical days with essential oils. ie Lavender, chamomile, sandlewood, frankincense, lemon, bergamot, & others. Try to be healthy in eating, but when I do eat chocolate or other sweet things, I share with my lover & enjoy this also, whilst trying to buy the best chocolate around to.:) I love to give presents to people, & hang out with friends & my partner, whom not only do I want to be with but we work together 3 days per week, which works when it comes to sharing massages, & also leaving each other alone to ponder the world & universe together yet alone.:) I love to read which each month needing to readsomething different, fiction, science, art, history, do it yourself, horticulture, sci-fi, travel, whatever am drawn to. Spend time with family when I can, & make a occasion of it to sometimes, like going out to dinner, or a movie, or even gardening together. Sleep, everynight, & drink plenty of local spring water. Learn something new everyday, & have goals. Talk to my Cat. Talk to the plants & sing to. Talk & sing to the birds. Dance around my house naked to funky radio music. Clean my house whilst listening to Fav music.Go for long bush walks into the wilderness. fix things that need fixing. Volenteer a couple of hours of my time per week to something external from my self.

I listen...
I listen to what my body is telling me.
If it is tired, I rest. If it is hungry, I feed it. If it is stressing out, I step back and take things easy. And so on... I try to maintain a moderate life... Not too much of one thing, avoiding gluttony. Not too little of another, creating a craving. I focus on filling a need, rather than a void. I do not ignore the warning signs of my body, rather I use them as purposeful clues. The who, what, when, where, how is a personalized road map for my daily care. |

Had a hard time answering my own question this time
had posted some thing than deleted it (which is a first) first post was about how to stay emotionally healthy within the disappointment of broken trust and how to balance accountability (self and others) without tipping into blame and shame , getting bitter or angry and giving forgiveness/ compassion without tipping into co-enabling and participating in the denial that keeps the harmful actions continuing this subject is a tricky one healing accountability So mind health: refining and relearning thought patterns that maintain well being choose choices that increase happiness read good books learn something new every day watch higher quality movies Social health: meet interesting people make new friends create music listen to others dreams work towards manifesting my own Body health: exercise, allow down spells of inactivity if I need rest eat food that replenish rather than depletes having good chocolate and treats if I desire it go to many potlucks and get other peoples recipes soul health: keep toxins to a minimum keep my energy clean as much as possible contain my energy into my intentions Family: keep boundaries but stay loving |

Dancing Fool
I dance when I'm sad, to be happy.
I take a spin class so I can keep dancing without getting too tired to enjoy it. I ride my horse, because I love them and where they take me. I look at my bike, and never ride it. I wash my clothes and never fold them. Great topic, ee |

Larry's 2 cents
I have dysfunctional sensory integration, or nonstandard wiring. Many sensory experiences that are ho-hum for most people are painful for me. The flip side is that I have a keen awareness about how things affect me. My resistance training exercise routine is a no-brainer. I only do individual exercises that make specific contributions to well-being or general health, and don't do the exercises that make me feel weird. Ditto for for my diet.

Health maintenance is about listening to our bodies and respecting them.
Understand that you are a multi dimensional being and integrate all your fields of your existence, into ONE BODY, ONE ENTITY, ONE UNIVERSE. Integrate and heal. Stay connected and mantain your health! |
