Once upon a time there was a Big Right Toe. She had been big all her life. Big Right Toe was lonely because all the other toes laughed at her and teased her for being so big! This made her sad. Poor poor Big Right Toe. Big Right Toe was always cold because she was so big and wasn’t able to snuggle with the other toes for warmth. What Big Right Toe didn’t realize was that she had a mommy that loved her very much and one day her mommy put a soft and cuddly blanket just over her! Suddenly Big Right Toe was warm and looked so pretty that all the other toes wanted to snuggle with her. Lucky Big Right Toe! Not only did she now have other toes to snuggle with, she also had a beautiful, kind, wonderful mommy who loved her very very much. And everyone who knows her, understands why.

Samira is a San Francisco-based breaks DJ, a Dutch-Indonesian transplant from Amsterdam, who spent her formative years listening to the sounds of the gamelan and began her life-long love affair with the piano at age 7. She discovered her voice behind the decks during a stint of writer's block, and hasn't written since. Today, best known for her relentless and bass heavy late-night sets, it is still a deep love for story-telling that remains at the root of Sam's sound.
