Lina's Tribulations
Wed, December 5, 2007 - 7:49 PM"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."

Oh, I didn't remember that one. I love it.
Hope she's better soon. I am frankly amazed that she is staying in that collar! Hugs. |

She's much better today. Becoming reconciled, I think. She slept in bed with me very sweetly and when we woke up, she kneaded my face and purred and purred. I think she's got a distance issue with the collar, but she always did sometimes knead my face. She's half Siamese, after all. I'm her vassal.
I found out she can eat crunchies off the floor or in a small bowl while wearing the collar (last night she had some popcorn!) but she still won't try to drink with it on. Just as well--she'd probably tip the bowl over with the edge of the collar. So we're still feeding slurry and hydrating with the dropper. This morning she was thirsty--I put the tip into a kind of pocket formed by the side of her mouth and slowly released the water alongside her gums, and she obligingly swallowed and swallowed. Didn't fuss a bit. Nice little kitty! Oh, I love her so much. |

She could well be a lamp--kittens are usually pretty wired. . .

The stitches are out now! ! ! She sure does love being out of that E Collar! She and the other black meezer have been tearing around here like you read about.
