A friend to many on tribe, great conversationalist, was rushed to hospital May 20 for neurosurgery.
She was also recently laid off, and her insurance runs out May 31.

If you can, visit www.lovejunkies.org designed to raise money to help cover the cost of her COBRA package. I did.
You can also buy things, such as T-shirts, mugs, etc. Go see. Maybe you'll see something you want, and the proceeds go to a good cause, not just a business.

While we can donate at different levels, if everyone on tribe gave even just $1... it'd be a lot of money!

FYI: My name change is in honor of * Doll Echo *

I have to shake my head in sadness at the cost of medical care and insurance in this country. I feel for her but my own medical bills have me for lunch daily. Those Cobra packages really stick it to you. If this doesn't work for her there are other resources. I know that first hand loosing all of my savings twice due to an accident my X had when we had 2 three month olds 20 years ago, he broke his neck and was a quadroplegic who happened to get an excellent neurosurgeon and my disabling accident ten years ago with it's ongoing plethora of surgeries pain and costs my initial surgeon was and idiot and has..... well that's along story.
I'm squeaking by now or would donate lovingly.

Yep...
...I got mine!
...soon this chest will be covered in a very super cool *LoveJunkie* t-shirt!!!

...and yes---if everyone gave $1 for her...the money help she needs would gather quickly, but I gotta tell ya--- if you can swing getting a shirt---do that. She can use as much cash as we can share...brain surgery and recovery ain't cheap.

...so imagine...not just a buck from each Triber...but $25---and damn...Brooke and her family would be in a good place.
And remember--- ALL proceeds go directly to Brooke and her family. Not some lame ass percentage...but ALL of it.
Unsu...

Amount to donate
Sorry, I didn't mean to say to only donate $1 - I actually did a bit more than that, and I didn't need a T-shirt.
I'll alter the above to tell about T-shirts, mugs, etc.
