<div>I mean, i was expecting the good chocolate, timely trains, literhosen, knives, watches, and alps. but a Hooters? no shit, i kid you not, i was passing through some city on the train and there it was.
Well, you learn something new everyday. Or in my case a few dozen things everyday, but this one was rather surprising.

										<div>I found that when traveling, google is too smart for it's own good. As i arrive in each new country, google will automatically change all the text and search results to the native language of that country! So far i've stumbled through Irish, French, Dutch, and Spanish, just by knowing the google layout well. (it's pretty simple...) Crafty bitches, yes! But useful to me? Not really. So after a bit of recearch i find the google language preferences tool page, good for me, yes! I then discover that google provides language interfaces for many, many languages. as i scroll down the list i find that they also include (but not limited to) the languages of Bork Bork Bork (swedish chef speak), Elmer Fudd, Hacker (1337), Pig Latin, and even Klingon! I've got mine set to Fudd, just for the hell of it. ( Google seawch | i'm feewing wucky )

they've even got yiddish, just for jew.

										<div>So i'm back in Dublin for the night, i cashed in my return ticket from Galway, which i already regret leaving. it is one of the most beautiful, festive citys i've been to in a while, (comparing to the states) but it's got alot going for it. Steeped in tradition, great pubs with shitloads of music, (traditional and rock) Alot of peeps our age with flowing dreads, beards, and open minds. Amazing town, i might have to go back there if i can. but right now i'm making my way over to England on a ferry and heading up to Manchester because ... i feel i should. I'll just say there are higher forces at work. After that i'll head to Wales, apparently my aunt has friends that run a catering buisness! I might have to go to work for a few days to gain some £'s to finance my way across England, the exchange rate is fucking vicious right now for Pounds Sterling... then over to Amsterdam to hopefully hang out with some newlyweds!

										<div>Ahh Jes,
made it here in one piece (yay!) slept for a couple hours on the plane but it's really hard to sleep watching the clouds roll under you at 40,000 feet over the ocean at sunrise, but also lost nine hours in the flight. So i got to Dublin, found a hostel in city center, and disco-napped until evening. I arose and ventured out to find a pub only to find the canals are filled with Guiness and Jamisons rains from the sky (actually the canals are filled with drunkards urine [50% Guiness ] and the Jamisons was from a 2nd story pub with a girl being sick off the railing).
but seriously, it's beautiful here, I have spent the first half of the day with a all Dublin buspass riding on double decker buses and exploring where i see fit. I'll stay here again tonight and then hop a bus tomorrow to ???
cheers ya'll

    </a>
										<div>I found myself in Eugene Oregon the other morning. Waking up in a different city, still shaking off the last of the whiskey slugged from the bottle is always a motivating factor to evaluate my life, and i still love it. I realized that the amount of discomfort i let affect me is heavily outweighed by the better things in my life. I'm doing pretty well as a human.
I started last week fuckin stoked as hell that i get to go see Electric 6 with Dan at the doug fir. They have the talent to fucking rock the shit out of whatever other mood i'm in, no matter when. They're just odd enough to intrigue me, and they rock enough to constantly delight me. A few days aft i went down to Eugene see the reverend Horton Heat at the wow hall thursday. The rev is one of the bands that i habitually have to attend as i have been for the last nine years, i feel I've seen jim heath accept the fact that he is going to be a surf guitar master as he grows old and not die in a flaming airplane like Richie Valens. I've been seeing them since i was seventeen every time they played in Oregon, and even though my music appreciations have evolved i still have a sweet spot in my heart for Jimbo and the Rev. I got to wake up and spend the day with some old friends that i haven't seen in a while, and then my roomie calls me up and tells me she bought me a ticket to Cocorosie and it starts in five hours. just enough time to have dinner with my chums in Eugene and haul ass back to Portland, swing by the house just long enough to fill her car with bodies, and off to the Wonder Ballroom to see one of the most beautiful shows i've seen in a long time. Cocorosie is usually some of the softest, most melodic, quickirly soothing music i usually listen to, but for this tour (or just for PDX?) they have an amazing beatboxer as their opener and laying down solid rhythms for most of their tracks when they're on stage as well. It blew me away how astounded i was by how much their music redefines itself with the addition of a live beat, and how moved i was by their presence of performance, watching their magic swirl around them in a venue. It was a ideal end to a week that replenished my spirit but strained my physical self.
I just wanted to thank all that made it possible.</div>

										<div>I dunno about anyone else but when i discovered that OMSI is doing a full frikin Star Wars exhibit. I almost peed myself. So what i would like to do is amass as many peeps that would be willing and invade the museum. (located at 45° 30' 36" North latitude, 122° 39' 54" West longitude)
but if was up to me i'd say we should meet up at Tennessee Reds to play some classic star Wars Pinball and have some drinks, and then go.
I've got wednesdays and fridays totally free.

    </a>
										<div>George Romero's "dawn of the dead", the '04 remake,a '18 inch cheese pizza, a fifth of rum, and two gallons of carlo rossi 'blush', ...

vs.

a Bunny, the Jew, and Dusty...

the Zombies held their own, the rum didn't have a chance, Rossi put up a good fight (but lost to dusty &amp; co.), the pizza was a contender until it was ran over by a tri-met bus, and then eaten.

<div>thank all you bastards who were gracious enough to come out to get me hammered on my birthday!

thanks for the taste of Jager in the back of my throat when i awoke in the morning!

thanks for the feeling of a wet towel wrung around my head as i've nursed a two day hangover!

thanks for watching over my drunk ass!

but really, thanks for being an astounding batch of humanity that i am lucky enough to call my friends.

Love ya.
