Dan’s use of Kabbalah, practical magic and ancient archetypal energies provide a collage for stimulating introspection. His art juxtaposes mysticism, modern physics, and present consciousness. When I view his art I feel pathways within me opening to a deeper understanding of myself and the inner workings of the universe. His ability to translate concept and vision is uncanny. Dan is a master. You have to experience his work for yourself to understand its transformative influence.

Dan’s work is provocative and mystical. The layers and depth embedded in his work inspire the soul. Magnificently crafted in multiple mediums, his everlasting art exemplifies an eye for detail and visionary ability. I always see something new and different every time I view his work. If you want the art on your wall to speak and create conversation then Dan Cohen is your artist. He is pure talent!

Solomon is not only an amazing visual artiste, he is also a spiritual pillar in our community. I have the utmost respect for his emotional intellect and ability to inspire creativity in people - specifically, me! He's goddamn funny and a real pleasure to be around, especially when times are tough and I need a good pool partner. We are truly blessed to have him walking amongst us.

I might also add that he dances better than any other white man out there. You rawk, Baby... Hoo!

A magical man who dances & dreams with dragons. With brush in hand he blends the shadows with the light creating visual language of spirit. Conscious in the moment his heart always shines with love.

My Blog

I want to create a graphic novel for fun, profit and to flesh out that aspect of my portfolio. I have the art side covered but I am looking for a talented writer to collaborate with me. I want to lean towards the fantastic, but with real world issues--sociological, environmental, psychological, spiritual, etc. Maybe even on the alternate "secret history" tip. If you have the time, motivation, follow-through and technical chops contact me.

Spirit's blog reminded me of a question that used to roll around in the old soup can--Its a deviation on the whole Matrix Red pill/Blue pill dilemma.

Would you Take the

A) Red pill: This means you would awaken to whatever Truth exists outside of your own personal perception. This could mean one of many unknown scenarios (i.e. you are a brain in a tank; the world in ruins, etc.). The only thing you know for sure is that the world on the other side is vastly different than the one you... read more

Are you a burgeoning artist interested in learning classical techniques to bring your vision to life? Are you an experienced artist who wants to explore a new medium? I am putting a class together for those interested in exploring the “Mischtechnik,” a renaissance era oil painting technique utilizing a combination of egg tempera and oleo-varnish glazes. It creates marvelous jeweled effects, and rich color. This method was used in the modern era by Visionary artists such as Robert Venos... read more
