Call for Art : “Threshold” New Year’s Eve Event

DECEMBER 31st, 2006 - JANUARY 1st, 2007 | 9:00PM on
320 SE 2nd AVE. PDX

All submissions will be considered on the basis of quality, craftsmanship and relationship to the theme and space. The theme is “Threshold” so think of passing from one space (whether physical, visionary, or psychological) into another, portals, doorways, etc. All artwork should be wall mountable & ready to hang. There will be ample space and lighting so think big.

Submissions should include:
Name of piece
Medium
Size
Weight (if more than 30 lbs)

Please send a URL of where the image can be found, or send an image file (jpeg or tiff) to me at dan@burningbushstudio.com with “Threshold Submission” in the subject line. Please send no more than 3 images.

Deadline for first round of submissions is 12/15 at midnight. You will be notified by 12/17.
Deadline for second round of submissions is 12/22 at midnight. You will be notified by 12/24.

All work needs to be in our hands by 12/24.

As NYE is rapidly approaching, I strongly encourage early submission.

Needing a place to stay in San Francisco this weekend

Anyone have info on a good printer of Art Stickers, Posters, and Cards (greeting style) that is affordable and can do relatively fast turnaround? It would be even better if they can do smaller runs on the posters.
