Bus Driver is the perfect asshole. 'Nuff said!

Its so nice to see you happy. Hell, its nice just to see you.

No.
The name is simply an amalgamation of experiences. BusDriver is a nickname from friends, with old origins. A scene handle, now crossed-over as brand name into all of my other social circles. It's strange and unique, so I kept it.
Does *your* Tribename / Nickname / Scenename / Playaname / Brandname / Alter-ego represent the whole of your sum of parts?
Not likely. Neither is mine. To label or objectify me for easy compartmentalization and digestion would be oversimplifying.
Although my driving skills are par-excellance, I have never actually driven a bus, nor does it represent an occupation or a life-goal.
Nothing worth having ever came easy. At least I think that's what they say, eh?
Well, if that's the case I seem to have a lot of worthwhile accomplishments underway 'cause they ain't going down without a fight.
Situation normal; going Mach 8 with my hair on fire.
The usual; A love/hate relationship with my work. The work itself is challenging and rewarding, the people are great, the organization is dysfunctional, and the movie industry is struggling a bit. Bad combo. Often fun ...

"All new lows, all the time." ~ Madison
Because real men work on things. Most importantly, themselves.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
'IF" by Rudyard Kipling
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!
about me
"We're all going to hell, and I'm driving the bus."
Why do I get to drive, you ask? Well, because I know both the way there - and more importantly; the way back.
I'm the BusDriver. Professional Wingman.
I enjoy introducing friends to new depths of debauchery, mischief, and mayhem. I take pleasure in sheparding friends on the journey to the underworld then getting them home again safely; enlightened and only slightly traumatized by the adventure. I am a leader, subversive protector, and puckish catalyst for cheerful chaos. I am playfully mischevious by nature, open hearted by disposition, but perverted, e-vil, mean and sadistic by discretion.
My mission; to lavish love on the people close to me and assist or nurture friends whenever possible. To comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable by waging war on ignorance and stupidity. To be extraordinary. To perpetually fight entropy, and to be a positive instument of karma.
My passions; to have fun, lead by example, and spread joy wherever possible. To live a fully examined and determined life the best way I know how -- utterly committed, throttle wide open, right foot planted firmly on the floorboard, music blaring loudly, flying by at 90mph, head out the window, weaving through traffic with an evilly wicked grin - and giving the finger to "obstructions" parked in the passing lane.

Because I still have more work to do yet:
------------------------------------------------------
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better,
whether by a wonderful child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded .....
