I don’t think there is a concept on earth more universally abused, misunderstood, and used for harm. Ironic isn’t it?

I want to share some of my own viewpoints on the matter of the nature of love. As always, take what fits for you and discard the rest as pure opinion.

The beliefs we hold define our world. More specifically beliefs define the personal reality of each of us.

What exactly is a belief? Well, I would have to define it as a concept accepted as TRUE. That is very important because once you accept or create belief, it then goes largely unexamined. It becomes “how things are” for the individual, so why examine it further? It becomes like air, invisible yet ever present.

There are a couple of points I want to share about the idea of an external reality.

If the world is out side of you, then you are at it’s mercy. You are like you were as a tiny child, dependent of the grace of something else to exist. That something else could be God, society, science and the natural world, genetics, your job…the list is endless.

Before I go any further I feel I should be very clear about a few things.

First of all, I do not claim any special enlightenment. I am no more and no less than anyone else.

I do not have any special wisdom that is not available to anyone who cares to look for it. ( In fact I believe that wisdom is the common birthright of all sentient beings, and hence my deep and abiding distrust of anyone who tries to sell it to me.)
