Mom and I made cookies

Just got back from Christmas with Mom. Unfortunately for both of us, within hours of me arriving I fell ill with that nasty ass plague that has been going around. So there were a lot of tissues and "oh poor babies" which is just a lovely change of pace vs. living alone in manhattan.
Mom is cool, such a crazy lady. (She tells me crazy is much more interesting than sane.) Wish she were closer!
(p.s. Yes, I made a menorah christmas cookie. I just felt it had to be done.)

what cool cookies
the late ma and I used to bake at the holiDAZE. My early days of sojourn into cooking and baking from scratch. I forget to admit sometimes my ma was pretty cool before the Alzhemiers really got its hooks into her mind. Takes someone like you sometimes to remind me there *was* a good side to the history. Thank you dahling :-) I wish your mom was closer too...I like seeing people I like happy. |
