Bent down and petted him on the head. Cat's response? He immediately started licking his paw and cleaning....his head! Apparently, he had to clean "the human" off him...and immediately!!! Talk about being a pariah!!

There is a legend somewhere about 'The One Good Man.' The man who cannot help but be essentially good, even when he doesn't want to be or it isn't necessarily in his interest. Jon is just such a person.
