I got to see my home slice Arwen this weekend.
She and her motley crew were banging around the Ren fair thingy up in Joplin and managed to come on down for a visit. We snacked on pizza's and rummaged through our brains for all of the those "inside" jokes that were so precious to us back in the day. It was really nice to have her energy and her Michigan pals in my house. It was like old times, but better. We had a damn fine time. I just wish that they could have stayed longer.

I went to a job interview today. Whilst not as relaxing as unemployment, it would certainly take care of those "I'm gonna be broke soon" blues. Apparently it went really well. They said that they would call me when I get back from my trip to the west coast.

If I don't get the job I may have to do Taro readings on my porch for money in order to survive rent time. Oh well. Everything is a learning experience.

Okay... Here is a glimpse into the Pinnacle of organization that is me.

I haven't packed yet. I leave for Cali in less than 16 hours and I haven't packed yet. In fact, writing this blog is yet another simple and sacred attempt at procrastination. GO ME!

Backstory: I got a Degu from a friend who was graduating college and moving across the country. She got the Degu from one of her friends who previously graduated College and moved... you guessed it... across the country... I am back from the desert. And (of course) reality sucks harder now.

And I now need to find suitable employment (that which does not suck would be preferred).

Although this is better than last year. Back then I got off the road from Burning Man less than 45 minutes before I was supposed to be at work. I still had dust in my ears. That day rocked.

So, yeah. I'm back. And all is relatively well.
