Sacred Sexuality Creed
Sacred Sexuality is the study and practice of recognition that the body is a direct part of the interplay between the Divine and the manifest. Sacred Sexuality entails the belief that the sacred is found within our bodies, and experienced through our senses, and therefore that our bodies are in and of themselves sacred and worthy of respect. Because the body-mind connection is indivisible, this veneration extends to the emotional body as well. Although Sacred Sexuality does not require the participation in specific rites or rituals, any action or experience that brings the individual into a deeper connection to the innate wisdom contained within the body could be considered Sacred Sexuality, even if the act or experience is not inherently sexual. Likewise, no oaths or dedication is required of any person interested in the practice of Sacred Sexuality, but any choice of commitment, whether to marriage, celibacy, or any other form of dedication intended to bring the individual closer to his or her personal connection to the Divine could also be considered Sacred Sexuality. Practitioners of Sacred Sexuality can be practitioners of any religion, and are encouraged find their own way to integrate their personal practice into the larger whole of their religious or spiritual structure. Sacred Sexuality respects the values of the individual, but does not consider any sexual orientation or practice to be undeserving of honor so long as all parties are adult and capable of true consent without coercion. One does not need a partner in order to practice Sacred Sexuality. One does not even need to have sex in order to practice Sacred Sexuality. Overall, Sacred Sexuality’s goal is to work towards the harmonious interaction of the whole Self: Body, Mind/Heart, and Spirit, and the harmonious interaction of that whole Self with the universe in a way that honors the Divine force which permeates all of reality.

This is the third in the stamps series. Hope you enjoy it.
Here is the second in the stamp series.
This is the first of three pieces I'm currently working on. I'm looking at stamps as religious propaganda and using women and violence as a subject matter... Love to hear your thoughts.
Cars, three-point turns make pentagrams in the dirt
At the end of the road where I sit in the morning
The weeks have been hazy but something is changing
I watched the sun convince the weakest cloud to let it through
It said "I would have gone crooked but for you"
There's a sticky orange vine here
And it grows over everything
I don't know what they call it
I call it 'Darling Creeper'
I give names to the flora and to the fauna
Most descriptive of their character to me
And theres ...

A case of you
Just before our love got lost you said
I am as constant as a northern star
And I said, constant in the darkness
Wheres that at?
If you want me Ill be in the bar
On the back of a cartoon coaster
In the blue tv screen light
I drew a map of canada
Oh canada
And your face sketched on it twice
Oh you are in my blood like holy wine
Oh and you taste so bitter but you taste so sweet
Oh I could drink a case of you
I could drink a case of you darling
And I would stil...

Almost.
Well no, not really... but see the thing is i've returned to grad school and it is currently kicking my ass. What used to be "breaks" (you know... spring "break," winter "break," etc) is now "extended paper writing time."
Oy.
So yes, i still love you. i'm just invisible. Graduation is tentatively scheduled for June of 2009 (unless the academic groundhog sees his extention shadow and goes to ground for an additional term)...
and then we will begin to worry about the...

Wow, Shekkinah... Sounds like you've had some frustrating experiences...
