Re: Gibson
(in Guitar Players)
Did you buy this guitar from a store after playing it or from an on-line seller?

I use Knotty Boy Tightening Gel (mostly aloe, which you can also use), but recently learned that apple cider vinegar works well, too.

[Petaluma, CA - Sunday, June 1, 2008] Legendary artist Alton Kelley created a graphic style that rocked the world beginning in the psychedelic Sixties. His concert posters, logo designs, LP album covers, and fine art have forevermore defined that time. Kelley, born June 17, 1940, passed away peacefully at home June 1st of complications from a long illness. He is survived by the true love of his life, Marguerite Trousdale Kelley. He also leaves his mother Annie, sister Kathy, and beloved children Patty, Yossarian, and China, and beautiful grandchildren Life and Lacoda. If you like your metal served up hot with a steaming side of "technical", but find yourself gravitating to the extreme, look no further Psyopus. The band formed in 2002 around the inhuman skills of guitarist Christopher Arp (Arpmandude), who also plays with Hank III in Assjack and is probably best known as the guy who didn't get the Limp Bizkit deal (shows what they know!). "Stevie Ray Vaughan trapped in a woman's body with Janis Joplin screaming to get out."
That's how blues guitarist Kelly Richey was described by one music critic, and it's a pretty good description! Solid songwriting, impassioned vocals, and a fierce guitar all add up to a sonic assault that is Kelly Richey. Add to that a live show that is non-stop intensity, and you've got yourself a winner.

1) I had the pleasure of interviewing the incredible Badi Assad for the "Guitar Gods" series (be sure to vote and, instead of e-mailing them to me, leave Badi your comments so she can read them). If you've never heard her before, do yourself a favor and read the interview with music from her MySpace page playing in the background. You will not regret it! www.tinfoilmusic.net/guitar-g... read more

The big news: I've posted part one of a 2-part interview with Tonya Kay. For those who don;t know the name, you've doubtless seen her on TV, or maybe a few years back touring with STOMP, or recently on the road with Panic at the Disco.
