English guy who jumped the pond in '97. I'm a paradox wrapped in a conundrum wrapped in a nice flaky pastry. I'm straightforwardly complex; there are great depths to my shallowness, and I have an ulterior motive for my hidden agenda. I love my language; it is a constant struggle to jejune excessive verbosity. I am an incorrigible flirt and a dirty old man, but I do so with style, wit and respect, which, so I'm reliably informed, makes me adorable. My brain houses a vast store of mostly useless information, though I manage to arrange it such that I am by all accounts a fascinating conversationalist, able to talk in an apparently knowledgeable fashion about virtually any subject you throw at me...and if I don't have specific knowledge, I'll likely have a provocative opinion. If nothing else it makes me entertaining company. I am, it has to be said, outspoken, and don't suffer fools at all, let alone gladly. I am twice married; once divorced, once separated. I am a parent of three amazing sons who live in the UK. I am human, and thus struggle with my desire to be honest and true to myself, to be a good father despite being 5,000 miles from my boys, and to be honest and true to those around me. I think I mostly do a good job, but there's always room for improvement.
