My Sister Meghan and my Grandmother Jean
This picture was taken back in the 80's when we lived in the faculty housing @ Montana State, Bozeman, Montana. My guess is 1984. My sister was such a cute kid. My grandmother was getting old at this point but you can tell that she was a beautiful woman herself when she was younger.
My grandmother was a biologist who spent world war 2 flying bombers into the South Pacific as a memeber of the womens air corp. In the later part of the war she flew a B-26 underneath the golden gate bridge. She tauht me to be cultured. Every friday when I was a kid I would spend the night at her house and we would go out to these big fancy dinners and she would teach me how to use all the diferent forks. On saturdays we would go to the matinee but we never went to kid movies. She took me to see movies like "Being There" and "Chariots of Fire" I think through those expierences she really gave me my apreciation for intellectual pursuits. I know those movies were a little bit over my head at the time but I think tey were my favorites. Being there remains in mty top ten to this day
