My mom has the sweetest cat in the world, Sable. About a month ago, she lost a lot of her sense of balance. It progressed to the point where she could only walk in circles, always to the right, and she couldn't even be still. The vet put her on antibiotics, thinking that it might be an infection of some sort, but there hasn't been any change. Tomorrow's my dad's birthday. I had forgotten until a bunch of family drama arose from nowhere. You would think that after almost two years everyone would just get over the bullshit. It makes it really hard, because I'd been missing him terribly anyway.

I haven't been playing since the Waywards broke up, but suddenly there are opportunities everywhere! I had my first practice today for the band I'll be playing bass with. Man, I suck. I'm supposed to sit in with a band on Thursday - playing violin, which I can actually play. And now there's a possibility of a weekend road trip to Athens to record with a friend!
