Migadee Mac Maker:
Born 1970 Los Angeles California, I have been drawing, dreaming and dancing since the day I was first handed crayons and the walls of my family home became my canvas. At 10 years of age I transformed my room into a spaceship. At age 12- I began experimenting with film & video, independently producing Super-8 and Video sci-fi extravaganzas starring all the toys around me.
At twenty-one I production designed my first feature film, which led to a successful ancillary career as a production designer & art director on numerous large-scale commercial projects. In September of 1994 a dear friend introduced Me to a full moon gathering (moon tribe) in the high desert this sparked an artistic and spiritual awakening that forever changed my creative path.
In 1996 I began writing the sci fi Trilogy "The 3 Ozwalds" with my brotha Alex.
Short films, documentaries, videos and video installations followed. In 1998 Golden Buddha bequeathed Mac with his current design space "Maker" located in the burgeoning Silver lake arts scene.Where I have curated numerous exhibitions & street performances.
In 1999 I ventured to burning man - returning consistantly to mount Art installations Large & small.
In 2000 I co-founded “Solids” a sculptural based arts collective. Curating nemerous large scale Art exhibitions & events.
As film makers in the summer of 2005 my brutha & I travelled to Angola - A maximum state prison in Louisiana. We interviewed a series if Lifers (inmates) for a documentary entittled "The Power of Freedom".
On christmass day 2005 @ 1:34 am my brotha alex & I completed The Epic Sci Fi trilogy "The three Ozwalds" (Three screen plays).

I am also currently building my first spec home "Shangrilas sanctuary"... I will build many more inspiring places for peeps to dwell...
