R.I.P. Jerry Fuchs
Pitchfork just reported that Jerry Fuchs, the drummer for !!!, Maserati, and The Turing Machine, just died. Apparently he and a freind were stuck in an elevator and while attempting to jump to safety he fell down the elevator shaft! What in the hell are the chances of that?! I've seen this guy 3 times and he really was an amazing drummer. I met him the last time Maserati was in time and he was a really friendly guy. This is so incredibly sad. is everything communism?
So I was just checking out the youtube video for MC Yogi's "Grass Roots" tune done for Starbucks. Granted, not an organization I'm a huge fan of, but I love MC Yogi and the message is good. It promotes volunteering to support your community and make the world a better place for future generations. Positive right? Would you believe there were people comparing it to communism? big move
so I've decided to move. I haven't fgured out where or when, but I need a change of scenery. I'm leaning towards Portland, but the likelihood of getting a transfer or a job seem low. I'm a little bored of the East Coast right now. I need to figure out realistics, but I really want this. I'm sorry, I just hate New Jersey and I'm stagnating here. I realize I'm being selfish with this decision, but I really need to be selfish for once in my life.
