So is it so wrong when you just sort of tell folks what you think. Regardless of the conversations turns and twists because you feel passionately about the subject....well yes. Its mostly because most folks aren't expecting what's coming that stirs their emotions... Although Sunday Panic at red rocks was still a beautiful day filled with friends and glorious weather, the sound was somewhat uninspired and I just am not in tune with Herring. To me he seems to spin his wheels off to the side while the other 5 members lay down a monstrous groove that wisps into thin air next to a screaming sound that seems to go around the same familiar, but not mikey like, tones and progressions...

There's always a learning curve...
Its part the routine, the day to day, the job that affects few and far between as opposed to the grand scale of works that tend to capture the imagination and soul... Its in these moments that Phaedrus grows restless. There is pacing like a big cat in a tiny cage creating a constant rhythm and tone as each foot fall hits the floor, and it does not cease. I was looking over a profile of a friend the other day, and it struck me that he was 10 years younger than I am. For some reason, I found that the internet simply does a poor job of conveying age...I realized there are a ton offolks who are 10 years older then me and that the level of communication is just amazing across the generations.
