Freeform v. Dubalicious this Friday 8.22 at Shine!

Freeform vs. Dubalicious is having a float in the upcoming SF Lovefest on Sat. Oct. 4th. We are not just doing any float tho. We have partnered with California Transplant Donor Network to help promote organ donation awareness in the hopes of getting more people to sign up on the registry. You can sign up to be an organ donor by going to http://www.donatelifecalifornia.org ALL of the money we make at the door (as well as our party in Sept) will go back to California Transplant Donor Network and to support education about the California Registry. For this night, it will be free b4 10pm (if we must), and $5 afterwards. Since we don't want to turn anyone away, if you really can't afford $5 (you shouldn't come out anyway), I mean, we will let you in. So, the answer to the question if we have a guestlist is 'yes'. But we strongly encourage you to support our float and this great cause. Trust me, we will more than make it worth your while. Just think about Oct. 4th when we are rockin out from our float :) On Friday August 22nd, the Freeform vs. Dubalicious residents Floorcraft, Iyad and Jonboy will take over the night, delivering wicked techno, house, electro, prog, and breaks. This is to celebrate our friends JESSI and STEVE's birthday and LINDA's graduation from nurisng school. YAY! We are doing this 'Eyes Wide Shut' style. We will have cake, stiff drinks and rockin' beats. Bust out your best masks and costumes. If you show up wearing a mask, you will automatically get in for FREE! Otherwise, email floorcraft@gmail.com to get on the free guestlist. Our special guest dj, who will be warming up the night, is Pancake Playhouse maestro, Dj HAEGEN. Against my discouragement, he has promised to spin in nothing but a mask. Anyway, he talked quite a bit (which suits me well b/c I'm kinda introverted) and it came up that he was a DJ. I needed a DJ for my party the next week so I figured, "What the hell, i'm drunk, this kid seems really excited about music, and I don't know who else to book on such short notice." So I asked him to play. Little did I know he had never played anywhere before, but that boy threw down a hell of a breaks set that night. Long story short, Dex has torn up the party scene ever since and is one of my favorite party DJs in the city. And it's his Birthday on Friday, so get him all fugged up! Dex and I are tagging from 9:45-11:45 and we are going to be known as DEXBOY! Yes, I do know that's a retarded name! last night i washed my hair before bed b/c i had played hoops and was all sweaty...when i woke up this morning i had the most amazingly perfect faux hawk....which begs the question, are the hair gods just messing with me or am i subconsciously dying to be a hipster?
