Celebrate the Bay Area’s progressive approach to the apparel design industry with The Bay Area Guide to Independent Fashion Festival hosted by YBCA. This all-day festival highlights homegrown talents with Locally Bazaar, a market featuring the clothes and accessories from emerging and established regional brands; a panel discussion on fashion and diversity; exhibits; and a runway show featuring the craft and couture of some of the Bay Area’s most dynamic independent designers. This event is also a pre-launch for the upcoming book The Bay Area Guide To Independent Fashion by Letitia Ntofon scheduled for release early 2009 (Black Dot Cafe Press).
