about me
I am a performance artist, dancer, model, illustrator, installation artist, and fine artist, among other things. I do many things well, some of which occasionally generate income. ;) I strive to make the world a more beautiful place in as many ways as possible, because, like Ansel Adams, I believe that people's lives are improved by exposure to beauty, and therefore the creation of beauty is as vital a service as medicine or agriculture.

I am also a die-hard gaming geek, and the Creative Director for the TempleCon gaming convention, which consumes a great deal of my attention these days. I very strongly believe that how we play affects a good many things in our lives, not the least of which is our basic character. Role-playing is a passion for me, because it allows me to try on all sorts of viewpoints for size, and my spirituality and sociability have definitely been enhanced over the years by this particular area of play. I enjoy many other types of games as well, and am fascinated by the diversity among gamers and games.

Frustrations of being female on the Internet... (blog entry) As rule, I don't go on about my sweetheart in public. In social situations, we tend to be together, because we share many of the same interests (the exception being my monthly forays up into Maine for LARPing purposes), but neither of us gushes o... read more

Ah, the joys of last-minute changes... (blog entry) So, today I have been informed that the fellow who was scheduled to run RPGA events at TempleCon will not be running those events, for a variety of reasons. While I can appreciate his reasons, this leaves me with some holes to fill in the role-p... read more

Wow. It has been an incredibly long time since I have posted a blog entry here. In part, this is due to having so many other places online where I post stuff. In part, it is due to having an incredibly busy life.

What have I been up to? Mostly working on preparations for TempleCon 2008. For a variety of reasons, we got off to a late start on the planning for the convention this year, and as a result, we have had to bust butt to get up to speed and get everything organized for the conv... read more

As rule, I don't go on about my sweetheart in public. In social situations, we tend to be together, because we share many of the same interests (the exception being my monthly forays up into Maine for LARPing purposes), but neither of us gushes over the other on our MySpace pages or our other online profiles, and on sites like Tribe that don't ask about one's personal relationship status, I don't think to include it.

Apparently, this makes me seem "available" to guys who prowl online netw... read more

So, today I have been informed that the fellow who was scheduled to run RPGA events at TempleCon will not be running those events, for a variety of reasons. While I can appreciate his reasons, this leaves me with some holes to fill in the role-playing portion of the convention schedule. So, I am scouring all of my online connections for experienced game-masters interested in running a role-playing event at TempleCon in February. I've already contacted the RPGA, but have not heard back fro... read more

Hi everyone. For those of you who have noticed that my communications these days have been a bit terse, the explanation lies largely in my computer. For some unknown reason, my computer has been hanging up constantly (as in every 30 seconds or so), and is having severe memory problems, and as near as Grant and I can tell this is not a virus, spyware, or some other such thing, as we've already done a thorough clean-up in that department. We think it might be that the actual hardware is dama... read more

My Testimonials

May 13, 2007
I am so excited to be Xi's first testimonial!!!
Where to start?
I have the good fortune to have met Xi back in 1988. She was a ball of energy as I recall and, of course, gorgeous. But her beauty is readily apparent, and totally through and through. She soaks life in beauty, with every element she can think to incorporate. Its a good thing she has all that energy.
She has my ferocious loyalty for life, along with love, friendship, and other benefits of the like. She earned it all, I can only say knowing her will reveal why.
