Starting my awesome new dance classes in my friend's living room on May 1st - with my kid :) I took jazz, modern, acro and tap from ages 4 to 14. I've only been bellydancing for about 3 years. I just quit my dance school because I wasn't impressed with the quality of what was being taught there, and didn't like the attitude of the owner/teacher.

On my kitchen table is my January info package for dance class. Included in it was a peculiar little paper stating that if any of us want to be on the waiting list to try out for the school's troop, that we should put our name on the slip of pape...

Loki and I start classes with Sheridan this Thursday and we're really looking forward to it. As Loki was so stoked about getting started, I thought I'd see what she could do one evening. She's 15 and has only taken about one year of "formal dance training" (jazz and hiphop) - she's always opted for other activities instead. She has always, however, "had the move... read more

Um... did I miss something? The woman who owns the studio teaches all of the upper level classes. Why doesn't she just pick who she wants?!?!?
