Visit to Silverleaf
(blog entry)
We made a late-afternoon trip to Silverleaf Renaissance Faire today. The crowds were thin, maybe due to the hour, or the fact that it was opening weekend. Also, the number of vendors seemed down, but maybe I’m wrong. I was hoping to see some da...

My God, so much has happened since I last blogged. Trey is in speech therapy finally through the public school system, and through a private clinic, but I’m not in the mood to go into all of that now, so I will just mention a few things. Every d...

Goodnight Moon
(blog entry)
Saturday, April 04, 2009
Yay! I got to see some amazing views of the moon, and Saturn and her rings. It was a good night. Trey got to come out and although he REALLY wanted to get down and run around, it was too dangerous (to the telescopes)...

Got some things done, not others, Made a similar run into the Math department yesterday and got most of my tasks done there, but forgot to check the classroom. Not a big deal, since I've taught in some of the rooms there, and most are similar. Took Trey to campus with me, so he got to see where I work, and he duped me into buying him a meal at the st...

We made a late-afternoon trip to Silverleaf Renaissance Faire today. The crowds were thin, maybe due to the hour, or the fact that it was opening weekend. Also, the number of vendors seemed down, but maybe I’m wrong. I was hoping to see some dance goodies, but only saw hip scarves and a few bra and belt sets. There was one very funny vendor who tried to sell Trey an animal tail. She said that he obviously needed one since it said TIGERS right there on his clothes.
We saw a show about ...

Trey is in speech therapy finally through the public school system, and through a private clinic, but I’m not in the mood to go into all of that now, so I will just mention a few things. Every day he does something that I think I should write down, but I just don’t sit down and do it. There were several things that I wanted to jot down yesterday; I was thinking about them while I was putting Trey to bed, but I probably will only be able to...

Local spring break can be just as fun
Yeah, spring break started today for all the kiddos.
I didn't see a lot of snow related activities listed.
Thank God we have a generator.
We had snow last year on Easter, and go cute snow pictures of Trey.
I guess it's time to bundle him up and head outside.

Yay! I got to see some amazing views of the moon, and Saturn and her rings. It was a good night. Trey got to come out and although he REALLY wanted to get down and run around, it was too dangerous (to the telescopes) for him to do so, so he was a bit cranky, but all in all, he behaved well. One cute moment was when a kind member of the KAS put a different eyepiece on his scope so Trey could try to look and I didn’t want him to get too close, but he did get a vi...
