I'm nerdy to a spectacular degree...
So I just did some poking around on CNN's website regarding the whole pig flu thing.
There have been 12 confirmed deaths in Mexico as a result of this disease. 1 in the United States (a child from Mexico who passed away in a Texas hospital). Another 150 suspected deaths. So let's call it 163 deaths from the swine flu, essentially all in or around the Mexico City area, right?
There are 20 MILLION people in the greater Mexico City area. Let's do some math:

That's the mileage on my odometer, or at least it was when I was driving home yesterday. Even though I'm only responsible for about 60,000 of those miles, it made me think of everything I've been through since I brought my car home on May 1st, 2004:

Enough is enough. Clearly some groung rules need to be laid down. So, in classic Bill Maher fashion, here is what I propose:

Just a geek-tacular little something I picked up from the "Wired" website...
Cookbooks are a lot like Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games. They contain seemingly rigid rules that, in practice, require a certain amount of adaptation for your own tastes.
So how come cooking gets its own TV channel and role-playing games don't even get a show on G4? Maybe the population at large doesn't want to pretend to be a half-elf. Maybe RPGs take more imagination than most people have.
