I am a Writer, Performer (singer, dancer, actor), and Mom, and I run a small Bay Area company called Clockwork Salon, which puts on Steampunk-themed events in the Bay Area. I do far too much and have learned to fold time a bit to accommodate my schedule - it was necessary. There are of course a few repercussions... lack of sleep can be an ugly thing - but so far I seem to be doing a good job of it. I've worked Renaissance Faires in Northern and Southern California since 1981 and the Great Dickens Christmas Fair... I'm a bit passionate about historical re-creation and costumed events!

I love dancing... ballroom, jazz, swing; electronica, hard rock, a bit of Goth/Industrial... any excuse to dance is a good one! My other passion is horseback riding, which I've been doing since before I could walk. I've always wanted to combine my love of costumes with my love of horses... and my current character, Catherine "Skittles" Walters, was considered the cream of the Pretty Horsebreakers in London, in the 1860's. Other than that... I'm a drama-free zone! Yup. No time for dramatic sagas or whining... they get in the way of enjoying life. And I DO enjoy life! I have two wonderful and amazing kids - a 16-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son, whom I love and adore and drag into the Fair(e)s and events as often as I can.
