This poem got rid of my headache.

Requiem for a Day

The love that brought me up
this morning
and gave me a home in sky and earth
gave me songs and words and flowers
gave me time and music and you
is now faltering, breathing
heavily
as the heavens slip away from us
its fiery heart dissolves beyond the darkness
and its frightened cries are
the calls of waking owls
Its shallow sighs are
the falling leaves
at dusk

Death comes suddenly
the moon has rose
the stars are wailing
the animals hum
their solemn hymns
and yet just as soon are out of mourning
into morning
a part of my life has been given
the day is born again
