Some of you have heard me quote this book liberally--it is a fascinating look at the biological influences on women's thinking and behavior. It is not trite or siimplistic. She is a wonderful, thoughtful writer and a UCSF Professor. I'll be attending the 7 pm talk on Tuesday and would love to friends there (I'll probably go to a coffee shop afterwards if others are up for more discussion)

and I still can't keep from smiling everytime I remember holding Buckley, who is a one-year old koala at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane, Australia (the largest in the world). County laws ensure Buckley and the other koalas don't "work" too hard by limiting each koala to 30 minutes of cuddling a day and giving them every third day off.
