I knew this movie got mixed reviews, I don't care. The Beatles are my favorite band and personally, I think they did these songs justice. Julie Taymor really knows how to bring the subconscious into reality. She is really creative, fearless and adventurous. She is willing to try things even if they might not completely translate. Want to see an EXCELLENT film directed by Julie? Titus Andronicus. Yeah it is incredible, Shakespeare people.

She's so Heavy.

I absolutely was captivated by this movie!!!!!!!!!! There was a lot of symbolism and decent historical coverage. Some of the musical numbers i didn't enjoy profoundly.....'uncle sam' and hospital scene...... but whatev......The lyrics connected stupendously with the love story and time period. I was Absolutely moved by "jude">>>> how beautiful!!!!!!! Although originally sung for a girl, was switched to inspire a heartbroken boy. What better way than to hear a close friend give you a call of advice and love. Exquisite, i just bought the soundtrack and am singing all the songs at the top of my lungs ..............'my guitar gently weeps', 'all my loving', 'i want to hold your hand', 'something', 'revolution', 'hold me tight', 'if i fell' . BEATLES are timeless, brilliant song writers and musicians....woot woot!!!
