<div>For those of you Buffy, Angel, Firefly Fans - Joss Whedon (the creator of those series) has come out with a new movie and is streaming it online for free in three parts starting today. After Thursday, the movie will be taken offline forever. I couldn't reach the site today because I imagine the servers are overloaded. I might wait till Thursday and try and see the thing in one go.

<div>From Vann's picture of the Piratefest, you all looked wonderful and were having a great time and I wish I could have been there with you.

I can't believe I missed it again this year. I spent the morning trimming the feet of fat horses and the rest of the day trying to please my wife, my sister, and my mom as we moved my mom and dad into my sister's house, and me and my family into my mom's house in Morgan Hill.

For those of you returning tomorrow, I envy you. Give a thought to me when you raise your tankards and yell "Arrrgh"! I'll still be moving.</div>

Protester runs with Olympic Torch and Tibetan Flag

										<div>
I just admire how ballsy is this lady. She had to have planned this months in advance. Good for her!

"Torchbearers in other cities have complained of aggressive
behavior by paramilitary police in blue track suits sent by Beijing
to guard the Olympic flame. Although there were no major problems
reported in California, they did make their presence felt.

At least one torchbearer decided to show her support for Tibetan
independence during her moment in the spotlight. After being passed
the Olympic flame, Majora Carter pulled out a small Tibetan flag
that she had hidden in her shirt sleeve.

"The Chinese security and cops were on me like white on rice,
it was no joke," said Carter, 41, who runs a nonprofit
organization in New York. "They pulled me out of the race, and
then San Francisco police officers pushed me back into the crowd on
the side of the street."

    </a>
<div>So, on Sunday night I get an email from Mastercard fraud prevention saying that I should contact them at such and such phone number regarding a recent transaction. Thinking it might be a scam, I wait till morning, call customer service and it turns out someone was trying to transfer money from my credit card. I'm thinking, " Man, I'm glad they caught it." Mastercard cancels the account and opens a new one for me. The mail arrives with my most current statement; I check it and I find a seven more money transfers and purchases I did not make. I get out my previous statement and find three more money transfers. I google the businesses that did the transfers (PayPal like entities) and it seems that the money was transferred to the commissary account of someone in prison. Also there was a charge from Poetry.com for possibly entering a poetry contest and a charge from Classmates.com. At least my thief is literate.

Here's the thing. I am partly responcibly this crime for not keeping track of the charges. In my imagination, I always check the charges and look down on those people who fail to keep track of their accounts. Turns out I am one of these nitwits. Apparently, I got to caught up in all the little details of my life and didn't check the individual charges for the last two months. God has once agained taught me humilty.</div>

<div>Rev Ro (Raw Wisdom Tribe) tagged me with this weird letter. Here are the rules:

Spout 10 or so things about your self, then pass the baton to 10 peeps in your friends list.
--
Once you have been tagged, you have to (are being requested to) write a blog with ten weird random, facts, habits, or goals. At the end choose ten people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment (tag you're it) to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you so make sure that you leave me a comment so I can check yours! Also, try to add several random facts to your friends list that they may have left out.

goodness here goes

1. I like to roller skate to disco music.
2. My younger sister makes more money than me.
3. I went through a Christian phase in my twenties
4. I envy people with ski boats.
5. I wish I drove a classic Mustang rather than a work truck.
6. My favorite meal is breakfast at nice coffee shop with hot waitresses.
7. My happiest moment – birth of my first child.
8. I stay up to late.
9. My favorite British TV shows – Black Adder, Red Dwarf
10. I often dream I am traveling in Germany.

People I tagged

1.	Annette – Because I’m jealous she’s in Hawaii.
2.	Kurt – because he stole photos from my album and owes me.
3.	La La – because she’s fascinating.
4.	Marvin – because he insisted on being my friend.
5.	Mahaveer – because I worked my ass off for him in the Keepe.
6.	Beach Runner – because I know he’s got an interesting backstory.
7.	Angelia – because she’s got luminous blue eyes and a sense of humor.
8.	Shelley – because she looks great in a bikini and thinks I’m funny.
9.	Tom - because he’s just a great person.
10.	Jean – because she’s beautiful, new, and we need to know more about her.

Hope you all still respect me in the morning.</div>
