I've got a spot at Desert Dance Festival! September 22nd, 8.5 minutes to spin around and look pretty. Do you have any idea how stoked I am?!

But I need to make armbands for the mermaid skirt I own; there's a top that goes with it, which I would never wear as-is. It must be taken apart.

So, I didn't do as well as I'd hoped to. The veil dance was weird because my initial grip was far too wide. And I just didn't know my music that well. As for the second set, the sword dance was *okay*, but none of the other dancers were captivated by it. I know nothing about cabaret sword as of yet, so it was more of an experiment I suppose.

More skirts need to be made for my cabaret outfits. (Honestly, it's not THAT hard.)
Alterations in my gold bra (to be completed presently. Like, NOW.)
More fake eyelashes.
And of course, technique for the cabaret sword dance. I only know tribal stuff. *ahem* MINA!!!

First day of Italian was pretty good. Still in love with the language. Mi professoressa, Signora Brunella Windsor, has a wonderful sense of humor. I like her a lot.
