Why do people, specifically me, crave interaction. Is it social or genetic?

So, I realize that physical communities are dead, except maybe in Israeli Gaza settlements.

Everyone was very nice, and very civil, but everyone, especially the men are unwilling to speak and are deeply suspicious of each other. There was some small exceptions, and I appreciate the effort of those who made them. I gotta figure this one out though, this is crazy.

When I walk outside my house, I will maybe see one/two people cutting their lawn. Eveyone is a loner or keeps their circles of friends tight. They are afraid of each other. That is why I am here. To try and reestablish a community for myself online with people around me. Hi, I am Calgon. I am from the Internet.
