Saturday and Sunday I got to spend time with Brandon ~ he is my great-nephew and the first member of the next generation on my side of the family... does that make sence? I also saw my Dad, my sister, my nephew and other family members, all told there were four generations of Neisiuses (Or is it Neisiei? ) in one place. That hasn't happend for a while. I can't remember when it happened, but some time in Junior High or High School I became aware that my parent's were people, with identities of their own, totally separate from me or from my siblings. Maybe it was before that, but what I remember is introducing them as "my Mom, Bonnie" or "my Dad, Richard" to friends and friends parents at functions in Junior High. It was important to me that others knew their names, not just that they were related to me.
