Every few months or so growing up... my Father would wake me up at 5 or 6AM (depending upon the season & thus time of sunrise) in the twilight hours I would hear him say "wanna go for a drive?"...

A few minutes later we would be cruising out someplace on long island usually close to some natural element on the north or south shore watching the sunrise without too much conversation.

Once the sun came up and we had hit a bagle store for a cuppa for him and a bakers dozen bagles with some cream cheese with chives, we would discourse on various matters til the we got home to the rest of the family.

It's 5:13 and I get woken up by the trashtruck. Otherwise the city has been ok to sleep in but friday am ...CRASH BANG...and for some reason my fan went off in the night...soooo... I wake up ....Realize my car is parked in a 6AM street sweeping zone across the street and say a hozanna to the trashtruck...On comes the fuzzy hat you see in the photo two blogs below

Out into the dark I head with a smile...I LOVE getting up super early... (surprise surprise) .... On OCCASION... I realize once in the deserted street, that this is a PERFECT time to clean up my car. A recycling rig is slowly working up the street of Noe Valley , grumbling along trying to wake up anyone who slept through the trash truck. It provides perfect audio cover for me to unload the remnants of the most recent erotic ice bar...

In the process of cleaning my car I find a jump rope...

So I am off to head up to the top of twin peaks in the rain to jump rope!
