how much more fun if I had been able to do so when tribe was flush with live and vibrancy
I feel like I am introducing an old lover to a group of friends at my reunion...
these days tribe is a shadow of it's former self...but none-the-less tribe is an INCREDIBLE place the ONLY social network that has such lax rules on personal self expression....
only on tribe could captain erotica exists and flourish over the past 6 years...
Captain Erotica is an Erotic Super Hero.. He is the full culmination of my degree in theatre arts at ucsc. Little did most of my fellow theatre arts majors know that I was a fledgling dominant studying the erotic arts of power exchange in parallel to my studies of acting and Directing. (directing in particular is a fantastic thing to study to learn how to be a good dominant...both a director and dom must be good at reading people and helping them find their maximum potential at whatever task they are set to perform)
Captain Erotica has taught/coached/played with/performed for and created events for literally thousands of people over the past 10 years. His main themes are
~Everyone has a right to express their erotic selves (even if it is just during a fantasy role play with a consenting adult)
~Kink and Power Exchange aspects of Eroticism have (an understandably) cliche place in our culture and yet they also have very many positive elements which can be both beneficial and fun
~For example -
~~S&M turns out to also be "energy work" similar to massage in a metaphoric sense...
~~ "Bondage" and "Sensory Deprivation" can be tools for meditation
~~ Dominance-Submission role play is a fantastic tool for spiritual guidance and teaching
These are a few things that I have worked on opening people up to, along with excellent communication in all matter erotic and otherwise.
Only on tribe could I have both my blog and my links to all the spiritual/kinky/fun people from around the globe and all their fun personal expresssion
Only on tribe could I post the mostly r but to some people very x xx and xxx photos that I have in my album alongside the shots of nauture and amazing places I have been and pics of me any my friends
so...while the past year of tribe has been SUPER dull compared to the preceeding years.. I do humbly invite any of you who were brave enough to visit here from Facebook to poke around my profile if you REALLY want to know me and see what I have been up to during my 30's...

If you haven't tried or looked into Fetlife.com, it is basically the facebook for kinksters! You can be as blunt there as you can here! Post whatever pictures you want and Captain, you can also use Fetlife as a vehicle to advertise the events that you organize and participate in, including the business you run.

tribe really does still have it's place. It's really good for forums whether it's jokes, heated debates or informative discussions.
Whilst I use other sites..they don't really compete...They're different enough to keep on their own merrits Rock on dude BTW this latest image of captain E's come a long way since the early days.. Nice work |

so funny you say this, cuz i hate having to be "careful" and love that tribe provided me at a time in my life when i needed it, a really cool expressive outlet to show a side of me that was fun exploring......and still am and always will be. i keep my faceboink, as i like to say, simple, reserved for only those i am very very very close with. they seem to all know what a freak i am anyway.

I kind of hope for a resurgence with Tribe but I wont hold my breath. HOnesty, despite the faults of tribe and some of the things that pissed me off in the past (like the 2257 crap), it seems to be the only viable network that has its social structure set up cohesively (despite the many db crashes and such). As well, its the only place where I feel I can express myself and my art (which often uses the nude form or other things that fall under the generalization of "porn") without dealing with a default world last name attached to it (like Facebook where I use a pseudonym) or being where teenyboppers can stumble upon it (like MySpace).
At any rate, I do pop into your account often and see what your latest adventures have been. Georgette (bohocrush) has referred back to you a few times in the long ago past too. :) |
