and easy to love.

and truly kind hearted.
I have found a kindred friend in him,
that I cherish deeply
and am truly grateful for.

Russell is amazing. He is kind, honorable, sweet, and amusing as all hell. I am glad he is in my life.

There are people in life who you come to love through proximity and the sheer amount of time spent together. When you don't see them as often, you'll still think of a small number of those people as your dear friends. And then, as life goes on and you realize that it's been months and months since you've talked -- there are a tiny number of people who you still *have* to call, because you realize that there's been a gap in your life since you last talked to them.

Russell is one of that very small group of people in my life who, no matter how long since we last spoke, I can't imagine *not* calling eventually. Even though I have no idea what he's been doing for the last umpteen months, I still know I can expect the same impish grin and big heart to come through the phone lines and give me a hug.
