about me
Not looking for an empty physical thing; that would bore me. Not seeking a 'black Mandingo'. not 'curious.' I know exactly what I want. I will become excited if I meet someone who is spiritual, (i don`t mean he goes to some relious service once a yr on a holiday ) also, I`m seeking a brilliant, imaginative, creative man who`s also an adventurous traveler.
And it would reallly turn me on if a man could make me catch my breath for a moment during my day as i remember something profound he`s written to me in a note, something that makes me reflect on my life, something that makes me improve my lifestyle...and ESPECIALLY if it helps me in any way to affect others, and to help others in my path, my journey through this lifetime. Now THAT`S sexy. I LOVE CONFIDENCE IN A MAN. I like unusual dates. I don`t mean "high maintenance" dates. Let`s get indian food from one of the guys on 6th St attempting to bribe us w an extracaraffe of wine, then wake up the mummies in the Egyptian Tomb Section of the Met museum. At nite we`ll lie on a blanket in Bryant Park, watch a free movie at dusk & share kiwis. If it begins to rain______________ (Your turn to write me a note...finish the story.) ***(Your note will DEFINITELY get my attention if you do this...almost no one does, and I LOVE it.I wonder if men even read these profiles. Or do they just look at the sexual screenames and women`s pics? ) I plan on going to Morrocco, Nepal, Tibet and Egypt; i`m actually planning a trip around the world within the next year or two, and I`d like to share these exps with someone (or someone to share my experiences with when i return). The past few yrs have opened up my eyes to the world around me & I want to see it to exp it for myself, not just be spoon fed b/s that the media, our govt feeds us. I want to see unique art, hear new music, dance to a diff drumbeat & nod my head to political poetry; so I`m seeking someone who loves the arts, too. I love old school, and sing half-the words, making up the rest when my favorite songs come on the radio , but I listen to alot of jazz, too; Billie Holiday, but alot of other stuff that most people (including me,) don`t even know who`s playing, I just love, especially the old stuff, and scat, `cause you don`t have to know the words. Classical (the Romance, mostly) and Opera, Ravel, Bach, Beethoven, but I`m just learning about EVERYBODY, all the composers, so I really don`t have any favorites yet... As for books, I DEVOUR books, even while walking down the street sometimes. Rather than tell you favorite authors or titles, I`ll tell you my favorite bookstores; The East/West Bookstore I LOVE, (but really can`t afford because its addictive) on 13th street, and 5th ave, I think, I don`t like the word "New Age" because most of the books filled with this beautiful info has been around for thousands of years, but hey...The Non- Imperialists Un-oppressive Bookstore on Carmine St (?) is great, AND cheap...and sometimes I go to Barnes & Noble in Union Sq..not really to buy..just to read everything and hang out, especially on a cold, rainy day . PLEASE do not ask me for a 'walk & talk' date. or a coffee date. Our first meeting can be dinner, lunch, a movie, comedy club, or someplace free (a museum, free concert, outdoor movie, drumming circle, etc) but at least try to be creative. Let's have fun when we hang out, even if there's no 'love connection.' Let's create a great first date memory. I`m now trying to live less selfishly and eating more healthy foods.I am a vegetarean now and no longer wish to take life due to my greed. Also, I have been seriously working on a relationship with our creator and attempt to express daily my gratitude for the numerous blessings we`ve been given.
