about me
I'm a shape shifter, a go getter, a pretty sweet girl, but no push over. I'm driven. I like to laugh. I like to flirt. I like to participate. I'm a peace builder. A culture creationist. I resist thinking in binaries when I'm aware of them. I'm learning how to be more assertive and take what I want from life and I am getting better at it. I have a map set out for my life journey, but I am willing to take a lot of detours. Maybe to your house.

My Whirl

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any
direction you choose.

You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll
decide where to go.
You'll look up and down streets. Look 'em over with care. About some you will say, "I don't choose to go there."
With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you're too smart to ... read more

So I am in Argentina now. This past equinox marks the movement into fall. Wierd. Things are tranquil and moving at a gentle pace. From what I have seen of Argentina, it´s beautiful. Bright pink sunsets, cactuses, and mountain ranges... fuck it, I can´t write about scenery, but it´s nice here, ok? The people remind me of west coasters- my shaggy ways don´t really put people off. The town I´m in, is all over the new age, so crystals, reiki, and chakra alignment are readily available. ... read more

So I'm in costa rica now.

I'm volunteering on a cocao farm called Iguana Chocolate. Its good work, with a nice family and good people, cheap living, beautiful and chill. Jamie and I are building a solar dehydrator. Neither of us have any building experience other than highschool wood work. It kind of looks like a time machine that Calvin and Hobbes would build, but I feel like I gotta get this experience however I can.

I came down to Jaco beach for a Raggaeton concert. This m... read more

So tomorrow I leave Livingston, and the country of Guatamala.

The beauty of this country dropped my jaw, in the simple smiles and eye contact, and buenos dias that I get. The exchange of humanity makes me warm. The amazing sculptures that Gaia has carved has revived me in her teal rivers, thick jungles and deep caves.

Now on the coast, I find myself having to seek a bit of control over my sea creature consumption. Coconuts this week make me happy. I had my first fresh Cacao fruit.... read more

So...
I have gotten down to Guatamala after 3 days of buses, trains, and (boo) a plane over Mexico. I am rooting myself, for a few weeks in San Pedro. A small comunity on a beautiful lake. All is lush and green, laid back and gorgeous. Right now I am learning spanish with a Mayan women- Wendy. Mostly we just have conversations and I my spanish is improving. The mayan language here is still strong, but there is like in Canada discrimination against the indiginous people and with the... read more
