Carl is one of the greatest artists of our time. He broke my brain once. The music was so good it hurt. He puts a hardcore voodoo on a dance floor and you can't help but shake your groove thang. I shook it till it broke and then had to sit and nod my head. He's that good.

I think I've watched Carl have more fun in a single moment than all of the legacy of Rockstar combined. Seriously. No.. you don't seem to understand...I''m serious. =) This man glows of the fun you wish you knew, and in doing so showed you the roots from which yours grew. Its a good thing he shares! There is a little sign that travels around with Carl that says, " Everywhere you want to be is exactly where I'm at." i.e. Professional Rockstar. YES~ I've waited a while to gift that sentence to someone, that someone would be you Carl! If you ever need a trunk monkey I've got your back. one more thing, I would like to personally thank you for living your truth, you have a presence of understanding that would bestill the noblest Paladin. No one I know radiates the the honor of carrying Rockstar as much as you my friend. For a true rockstar is a freeeekin great guy. Anyhoo...if you left something at our house...a jacket, a nice bracelet, sippy cups, scarves, a bazooka, etc....it will be with me down at the Crown Room tonight...we open at 5...you know the drill. Apparently the club is TRASHED from Saturday...lots of pom-pom streamers...HMMMM....

You Are Invited..for Carl's Happy Hour! This Tuesday, November 13 @ The Crown Room!
( community » other ) It's been two years since Wooché (our Woo Woo Happy Hour at Touché) ended. Well...breaks over...time to get back to DRINKIN'!
Oh the memories we have from our Happy Hours...the humping...the grinding...the gyros. We won't have gyros, but the appetizers look great and they will be Cheap!! And...HELLO...MAGIC FUCKING GARDENS right next door. Bring lots of ones for me and the girls. New Happy Hour: The CROWN ROOM...TUESDAYS! I'm there from 4pm to close. The Crown Room is the brand-new lounge right next to Magic Gardens downtown. Just open for six-weeks, I'm getting in on the ground-room floor of what is surely going to be one of the hottest spots in town for awhile. Remember the old 1201? Imagine if it was twice as big, five times as clean, and in a better part of town. The Crown Room has high-back leather (or faux leather) booths, a sweet stage and pa (where Solovox is undoubtedly going to drop some stank bombs very soon), and seeks to emulate the Rat-Pack lounge atmosphere. Soon there will be a game room in back with pool, darts, and yes...even SHUFFLEBOARD! I just moistened myself. I MISS YOU GUYS...and I'm back. Mondays are off the table for now, because they would like to have Mondays off themselves...but if WE rock Tuesdays, we can do whatever we want. So now I need YOU...everyone of you...and your neighbors, enemies and relatives...to come on in! I'll be learning the computer system, the bar, etc on Tuesday, so it's insane that I would want the hordes to show up...but FUCK IT!! Let's return to our Happy Hour joy that we had at Wooché. Which means, of course, we need a new name for our get-together, yes? The food looks great...and all appetizers are $2 off...so they are cheap. I don't know the drink specials yet, but there are definitely some during Happy Hour: 4-7pm. I'll be there all night, too! I love you guys, and I'm psyched to be your bartender again...spread the word, and I'll see you on Woos-Day!!
