Thank you thank you thank you K8 and Dan. There is Maker's Mark at The Crown Room with your names all over it.

that
is a BIGWHEEL? did you miss the 70's?

My big wheel's rolling south but I wish I could be there. May I recommend pulling out the blue meanie: sure to short circuit the masses with its incredible sonic slay potential!

Aye Cap'n Argon!! I'll try to keep Jen's sweat off of it...unless you want that coating on it.

rad flyer. But agreed-that is a big wheel, whole other class.
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 3:50 PM
that flyer also defying pedaling. Suspended reality pedaling.

Yes, I am wasting time from work since I can't come to your show because I live out of state. How could you tell?

Yes, yes, yes. It's a BIGWHEEL...I was so excited (I posted this about 90 seconds after getting it from K8) I just got sloppy.

Did anyone else here skip the Bigwheel and go straight to the Green Machine?? That was the shizzle. Next flyer, maybe.

You said 'Green Machine'

It was just a few days ago as i was laying ill in bed, when i piddled to myself 'I wonder if anyone up here in the northwest got to experience the ecstatic thrill of the Green Machine when they were a mere lil runt?'

weird.
we texans did fo sho.

man, i wish somebody would make an adult sized green machine! those were the shit.
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 5:12 PM
I bet Richard (M4) could do one!
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 5:38 PM

Thu, April 10, 2008 - 5:39 PM

I had a Big Wheel but my neighbor friend had a Green Machine. Though I could beat him in a straight-line race, I always wanted one.
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 7:05 PM
My brother got a green machine for getting a "B" in math and I beat him up and stole it. I literally thought I was the neighborhood cool patrol on that thing. And yes Brent, I was just having a conversation a week ago about how I wish there was an adult green machine...though I think I am still short enough that I don't need one.

I had a green machine. My Grandma's house was on a very steep hill and my brother and I would take turns dive bombing down the street. You'd have to just put your feet in the air so the petals could go out of control and then steer for your life. I crashed a bunch of times, but I didn't stop till I got a black eye.

This flier is AWESOME!!

i can see it now: "mt. tabor adult big wheel spin out competition! Sunday! Suuunnnday! SUNDAY!"

scary thing is..... i bet richard, and quite a few folks we know, could build an adult green machine/big wheel. And i bet we could use the go cart track on tabor.

oh crap.

:)

ah, but who will build the fleets of robots to race the big wheels in a last-man-standing-derby-of-death?!?!?
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 8:42 PM
i have always wanted an adult big wheel or green machine, especially on the playa. it's about time someone took notice. i'm in.
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 9:43 PM
Hehehehe

I'm one of the few adults who can actually fit on one of those, unmodified! Ah, the glories of being miniature!

Big bright green pleasure machine?
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 11:47 PM
I'm a little concerned with who that robot is going to run over being as his/her legs can't touch the pedals. And s/he is clearly steering in an unsafe manner.

the lack of knee joints could prove problematic as well.
sometimes when your toys don't fit together
(ie: Lego's + Construx, Giant Robot of Love + Bigwheel, GI Joe + Barbie)
it just takes a little extra imagination!
the piano-key grill is special just for you, carl.
ride on.

Whoa! I didn't notice that until now! Well done, Dan. You RAWK!
